Super Ally Scores Again!

There probably isn't a whole lot between both players, Goodwillie is possibly more clinical infront of goal regularly and Lafferty probably has more movement and link up play to offer. From my point of view I want Goodwillie to join because he would add more depth and quality to the squad and would help compliment Lafferty and he would also give Ally more options, I dread to think what's going to happen if Jelavic gets any dory of injury! C'mon Rangers get Goodwillie on board!

I genuinely can't believe some people's perspectives on our manager! The guy is one of us and we would all love a crack at managing the team! Other than getting Edu out the team I don't see what else people expect! U can't legislate for our best right back having a shocker in the first two games and then blaming the manager! Whittaker won't need told either that he's cost us badly. Lafferty being injured has probably forced Ally to play Naismith upfront as Hemmings is unknown and Healy isn't getting a look in! All in after two games I can't believe people are cOmparing Ally to Mowbray/PLG get a grip!

Without doubt this has been a rather subdued start to the new era under McCoist and Whyte, a poor draw against Hearts and a nightmare against Malmo which leaves us on the brink of elimination from the Champions League. However, as usual it's completely overhyped and everyone needs to have a wee look at themselves! Ally McCoist - Who cares if he wears a suit and sits in the stand? He obviously thinks this is the best way to see how the team is doing and also gives him the opportunity to see exactly how the other team has lined up and make the necessary changes! Let's just remember he's one of us and will be hurting too The Players - The nucleus of the team remains the same and these are guys who have served us very well over the last 3/4 seasons. It goes without saying we could all have a rough stab at the team prior to announcement as 8/9 positions pick themselves! Whittaker doesn't become a bad player overnight, Edu and McCulloch doesn't work we all know it. Edu has offered nothing for seasons and has got away with it and big McCulloch has played with honesty for the cause even though he's not the most gifted player, his commitment can't be questioned and sometimes his versatility is his downfall as it makes him an easy target when he's played out of position. We badly need attacking options and don't even want to contemplate Jelavic getting injured! We have missed Lafferty for his movement and link up play but extra options are needed. At least Goodwillie needs to be signed and possibly even playing Healy to see if he can cut it at the club. The Fans - We need to all pull together at the moment! Yes were all frustrated as it's not been spectacular and yes we want to see the colour of Mr Whytes money but times have changed and Rangers are clearly going to be run differently and more prudently from before! Let's be honest when Lloyds were pulling the strings we all wished we'd been more sensible in the market so we can't have it both ways. Yes 400k for Miller was a joke and so have other transfer dealings and are we honestly haggling over an approx 500k for Goodwillie when he could make us more than that? Frustrating times. It short let's pull together, Saturday's game won't be easy and the thought of not getting 3pts doesn't bare thinking about but we need to show a united front as Celtic won't be slow in putting the boot in! Without doubt Coisty will get it right and lets stop bickering about non-footballing things when were all fighting the one cause!WATP
