  1. ok i'v had a few beers watching the footy after work so shouldent really be posting but there are 2 things i want to say after reading this thread.first rangers can in no way be seen to back a boycot of other member clubs of the corrupt spl/sfa only thing this would guarantee would be more punishment from them.secondly no matter what we say or do if these cunts get half a chance they will hurt us as much as they possibly can.

  2. Why does what you say sound OTT? Such things are possible, and such things are plausible in politics. The attack on the club, the fans is concerted; concerted enough for your opinion to be substantiated as it being an effort to be against Rangers.

not ott to me mate but there are lots on here that scream paranoid the minute you post something that stirs the pot

  3. Well they've failed big time then, I don't know anyone who is a Rangers fan and ashamed of it. I also think they hate us because we're the best team and We Are The People. Also their plastic paddy politics.

there are no rangers fans that are ashamed of being a rangers fan but the point minstral is making i think is the media are trying to demonise rangers and stop any young people from forming the same bond we have with our club

  4. my opinion is that it has absolutly nothing to do with envy or football it is polotics.the taig want independence and we are the one and only institution in scotland that stand for the union.if they get rid of us then there is no opposition.might sound a bit ott but this has been a deliberate and nonstop attack on our club

  5. he says blatant premeditated deceit.lets not forget we were only found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute because the sfa decided that someone within rangers must have known what whyte was doing.no proof whatsoever to back this up

  6. It does seem strange that they would do it once and once only

imho they were warned by one of their high rank political insiders to own up to one and they wont be investigated any further. just my opinion but gordon brown pm at the time and now head of ceptic charity must have known tax man was coming down hard on ebts

  7. bbc do not have access to anything to do with the internal structure of how rangers are run. the only way they can get this information is from the shit the sfa/spl feed them from their totally confidential enquieries

just read back on a few posts and its been said sorry <cr> its late gn all

  8. Must admit i am starting to get worried about the misuse of EBT. Just hope that Murray has told us the truth and not given them another stick to beat us with. Some of the tweets about the show are not looking good, and just hope it is guess work and have not been fed info.

BBC doc on Rangers in 2 days.hear it has chapter&verse on EBTs- names, contracts, amounts. apparently, scale of ebt (ab)use is "eye-popping"

    lawrencedonegan ‏@lawrencedonegan

also told BBC had access to "treasure trove" of documents - far greater than anything seen by SPL inquiry in Rangers.

Drums are beating ahead of the Mark Daly documentary on Rangers on BBC on Wednesday. If I was Neil Doncaster, I'd set up camp behind the sofa

bbc do not have access to anything to do with the internal structure of how rangers are run. the only way they can get this information is from the shit the sfa/spl feed them from their totally confidential enquieries

  9. The only thing I'm remotely happy about is the fact that with a 10 point deduction, along with everything else that our club has gone through this season, celtic could only win 1 of the 3 trophies available to them.

aye well give them a couple of seasons and every club in the spl exept the taigs will be starting with -20 points and a total transfer embargo unless sanctiond by taig fa

  10. i remember the last time he tried to stick up for rangers live on radio tim hugh keevans threatend him with a law suit from the daily rebel and sadly from there on he has been the token rangers man they put up for show of nutrility

  11. Taken from a Toon blog -

Newcastle’s track record of signings isn’t exactly the best, especially when Freddy Shepherd was running the club. He might have helped to bring Alan Shearer to Newcastle, but when he was Chairman from the mid ‘90s to 2007, he was also responsible for signing the cheques for Albert Luque, Marcelino and Jean-Alain Boumsong to name just a few Newcastle flops. However, with Manchester United due to travel to St James Park tomorrow, Shepherd said that Red Devils striker Michael Owen is the worst deal he’s ever done.

Speaking to the Sunday Sun, Shepherd said the Owen deal “was probably the worst deal I did at Newcastle. That is just being frank. We paid £16million and we didn’t get £16million worth of value out of him. And there was no added value off the pitch . . . the added value was nil off the pitch. I’m not having a go at the kid as he was fine when he got on the pitch. It was a nightmare from an injury perspective.”

Do you agree with Shepherd that Michael Owen was the worst signing he agreed when Chairman of Newcastle? There’s plenty of competition for that rather unfortunate accolade, as in addition to Luque, Marcelino and Boumsong, he also splashed the cash on Titus Bramble, Hugo Viana, Carl Cort; need I go on? But do you think that Owen was the worst of a bad bunch, or does another Newcastle flop go down as being an even worse signing than the England striker?

    Leave your suggestions below…

he dident pick the players that were signed for newcastle the manager and coaching staff done that. the fact that he was willing to spend money on the team gives me more confidence than the fact his manager (in your opinion )made bad signings

  12. Why the hatred towards miller ?

miller was part of the group that shite whyte introduced into the bidding and now apparently whytes sidekick ellis property developer and proclaimer to 23% of rangers shares is involved some kind of deal with miller does not exactly fill me with confidence
