If you struggle with your reading skills then work on them.
The reason why Cameron wouldn't campaign against dissolution was highlighed earlier. He has already made it clear he WOULDN'T stand in the way of the will of the Scottish people. IF the yes vote wins Cameron will let proceedings commence.
Now, I have given my views on the oil settlement based on the IMB. What makes you think the UK government could possibly have a case at a court of law?

So your main concern about normalisation is that Scotland would compete with England?
Honestly in the modern global world is this really "what it boils down to"?

You really don't understand any of this do you?
Scotland is making a profit on the back of being Scotland.
Lets look at Scotland main profit streams.
Income tax
Oil revenues
Tourism
technologies
exports
Now which of the following would deminish is Scotland became normal? Now the point you make about corporation tax is a valid one. Northern Ireland have been able to set their own rates of corporation tax and a reaping the benefits attracting more new investment in the previous fiscal year that in the two prior.
Next you talk about the city of London. Do you think this directly benefits Scotland? It's actually for you quite a decent point. Glasgow in particular has grown into a major finacial player over the last few years to sit side by side with Edinburgh.

Talking of NASA, I shit you not, I recently bought a Press Release for one of their shuttle launches on E-Bay. Don't ask why. Anyway, amongst the blurbs about the commercialisation of space and so on was a little bit about them taking strains of the E-Coli virus into space. This is like 1990 something or other.

Wales doesn't have a substantial Irish Catholic, or of that background, population. I think you'll find that Wales is just as violent as Scotland. It's just that they don't shout 'Fuck the Pope!' or 'Fuck the Queen!' when they're steaming in on a Saturday night.
Seperate Schooling is an issue you don't really want to get into. If you're opposed to it for whatever reason, then all you can do unless you want to impinge upon peoples rights, is evict the Catholics from the country. As regards 'Sectarianism' and the role RC schools play in this then you have to take that issue all the way back to Rome. El Papa ain't just a pretty face.

Yes we had. The thing is that people who would vote for those reasons usually, actually don't vote. You make those sorts of descisions if you're not terribly interested in parliamentary politics because you're generally sick of it all. There's a small minority of politically active football fans but most probably don't give a shit. Until, of course, politics begins to have an impact on them.
