I've followed Rangers since 1960 and this is the worst Rangers team I've ever seen. The defence is weak, the midfield is ineffective, and the front men, when they do get service, rarely make good use of it. And why oh why does Tavernier have to take every throw in, every corner, and every free kick?

Punt Goldson and Barasic at the same time. They are a liability.

Spot on mate. He needs to shut his trap and concentrate on football. Once he's contributed something to the team then he might have earned the right to voice opinions.

I'm pretty sure that Provan, McKinnon, and Stevenson may have featured. My doubts were about the forward line. I had:- Sorensen Johannson Provan Penman McKinnon Stevenson ? Sorensen ? Persson ?

During the "Scandinavian Era" in the late 60s Rangers fielded a team in which all of the players' names ended in "n". As you can imagine there were a number of Scandinavians in the team. I have a fair idea of the team sheet but am not certain of all of the names. Anyone out there have the full team?

In my youth I was a member of the Gourock Rangers Supporters Club. One of the committee was a chap named John MacMillan. I just wondered if there is any connection between the guy from Gourock and the current general secretary of the Rangers Supporters Association.
