Lets face it - Rangers are gonna have it tough this year irrespective of how we perform in europe. Getting in to europe next year is going to be almost impossible given the reduction in the coefficient not allowing the champions direct entry to the group phase. The pragmatic view is do what you can in either competition. Bank on the possibility there will be no european football next year, accept that our presence in europe might cost us the league, but look to the long game and the fact that Rangers have no dough and will get £10m this year from our presence in the group phase and build for season 2011-12 with little debt and develop a squad from there!!!!

Wilson and Fleck aren't out of contract and either is Velicka I would try and keep Boyd and Novo on reasonable wages. I would let Wilson go only if we get a good offer for him. Smith is injury prone so should get pushed out the door on his wheelchair if we have to. Are there any good youngsters ready to step up?
