Fair enough dude for what it's worth I don't agree with abusing him in front of family I've always said in life if your a man and someone hates you for good reason your fair game except at your door step, work or when with fsmily

kiernan is no exception but he should handle the abuse and not be a fanny that's what I'm saying and also I'll be delighted when he's gone even if the super fans will be upset

Shouldn't be giving him abuse at all though. If it's abuse it's over the top. You can criticise someone without being abusive. Saying that, do we even know the circumstances? The guy is getting more stick on here now and what for? An incident in which we don't know what really happened and a story in a rag with no sources.

I can do as I please.

Senderos fucked the club over and as such should never have donned our shirt again. I don't remember Gazza or anyone else getting a deliberate red card because the taigs were thumping us on their debut....name them!

I know what I seen with my two eyes, a big moronic bald prick juping up and smacking the ball away like a volleyball player because Celt*c were smashing us. He spat in his teammates faces leaving us a man down.

As much as I dislike Kiernan at least he has enough in him to stand side to side with his team instead of being a shitebag and a coward.

To be honest I've always thought Senderos' handball looked very impulsive so I doubt he was thinking about a 2nd booking when he done it. Deliberate handball, yes. Deliberately sent off, no. In my opinion anyway.

He aint singled out, he's just pish, like many others who get the same treatment. It aint our fault the excuse for a manager keeps picking him and he's constantly piss poor.

Along with many others he should never be in a Rangers jersey and he's lucky he even got near us and he can be grateful for that, not fucking us and he can watch that the door doesn't hit him on the erse on the way out along with the rest of the mediocrity, including the idiot that picks him.

I'm not entirely sure whether your blaming the players or the management. Or are you blaming both? I know who I blame. Our players may not be good enough to win the title but they are good enough to be in a better position than they are. Many of them have regressed under the manager's tactics and have gradually got worse. Halliday has been poor recently but he has the excuse that he is being played in a position that is not his own. For that reason and others, he has attracted more criticism than he has deserved IMO.

  4. At the moment I think we need a change of manager. However, as long as a manager is in charge, he should be able to turn things around and be in control of his own destiny. 2nd would not be enough in itself for me. The team would need to improve and be more consistent. We need to be more competitive in tougher away matches and also should be looking to put in a decent run in the Cup. Could this happen? Yes. Is it likely to happen? No.

Any chance we could throw all the McInnes, McLeish, Davies and Kenny Miller players manager threads together.

All these good suggestions are getting to much for me :digging:

I havnt made any suggestions but I wouldn't say McInnes is a shit one. He's probably the least risky option we could realistically get. If we do change manager he will very likely be the front runner. Imo.

I agree with what you are saying re: the media.

Regarding Barrie and Wes, we don't know how much they will go for when they do. It may even be this window. The media certainly won't help us up the transfer fee.

Billy Gilmour is out of our hands. He can't sign a pro contract until he is 16. We obviously want to keep him. It's all down to what the lad and his parents want.

I agree that there's not much we can do about the amount we receive if Gilmour leaves. It's another financial blow though that we could do without just now.

Someone from here should tell the board we are allowed to sell players for cash money.

We don't know the ins and outs of this. I doubt the board said "shall we try and get money for him or just let him go for nothing instead"?

How much was he on per week? Was it appearance based? Did we have an agreement with him to let him go under certain circumstances?

I do understand why folk are a bit pissed off, but I doubt the board were too lazy to haggle for a couple of hundred grand for him.

The other side have the media so tied up to the point the papers are helping them sell players for more than they are actually worth. When a Rangers player is talked up they have the likes of Sutton, Harston and others shooting it down. That's one aspect this board need to deal with. We need to start valuing our players, defending them when they deserve it and ensuring they don't leave for below their market value. This window looks like we will lose Gilks for nothing, pay a quarter million for a backup keeper. We will likely sell McKay and Fod for a pittance in the summer. Dont forget we are going to lose Billy gilmour for 100k which makes it worse.

    Boys an absolute class act.

I'd be trying my hardest to make sure we get him on an extension for 18 months rather than him going back at the end of the season.

Warburton takes a lot of stick for some of his signings, and rightly so, but he's done well to identify and bring this lad up to us.

He reminds me of Steven Davis - touch, running, passing and vision.

    Finally a Rangers-class signing.

Assuming Bournemouth stay up and we qualify for europe and he plays regular for us till the end of the season, there is a decent chance we could extend the loan.

OK then Broadfoot, Kevin Thomson, Papac, Boyd, Davis next in

I get what your saying but Broadfoot and Thomson didn't rack up the same number of appearances nor medals. Nor did they play consistently as well in their positions as Weir did in his. Other players actually played better around Weir. He was brilliant at reading the game and organising the defence.

You've got to remember hall of fame isn't just on ability. It's on goals, appearances, trophies won, international caps.

Obviously defenders aren't included based on their goals but Weir qualifies on all other criteria if you ask me.

  10. Just now, K.A.I said:

 why? nothing against the guy but seriously why? good player, done us a good turn for a couple seasons especially at his age ... but so what?

You include Weir then you include scores more similar.

Weir was a good center-half for us btw but this is why the hall of fame is devalued.

It may be devalued by the amount of players in it but not by Weir. People still underestimate him for us. It's no surprise Wilson, Bougherra, Perry and even Cuellar all seemed to be at their best next to him. As I said captaining us at his age to 8 trophies and a european final is more than enough to justify his inclusion.

Why should Weir be in it?

Do people get in it for being Rangers men? Weir came in late on in his career and make no mistake his services were first class, but hall of fame material? Naw.

Came at the age of the 36 on a 6 month deal and ended up captaining us to 8 trophies and a european final over 3 seasons. His age only made it more remarkable. Of course he should be in it.

Nothing against Weir, Miller, Ricksen, Jig but no not for the hall of fame

If Novo never scored that penalty in Florence id include him in that too

good players as they were having them in devalues the hall of fame it should be for the likes of the Barca Bears, Goram, Gough, McCoist (hate myself saying the cunts name), Walter Smith (if managers allowed)

No Weir in the Hall of Fame? Are you having a laugh?

IMO we should have bought the players we need for next season now so that they could gel. We've not done that and even the loan players are short term. It's a real worry for next season TBH.

I dont agree with the "gelling" argument. We bought 11 new players last transfer window. 10 of them aren't even playing regular let alone "gelling" in the current team. Other managers seem to be able to get teams playing well instantly and we should be no different. I can't see any new signing "gelling" for next season. I've said it before but loans give us the ability to strengthen without any major financial outlay. Any money should be kept until we see how the rest of the season pans out.

I still think there's something to this rumour. They spent 13 Million on Oliver Burke who was just a decent English Championship player so the McKay 'offer' ain't far fetched with the wealth of Red Bull.

King would have had an orgasm when he heard the 6 Million stories. He'll be on the phone whoring Barrie out to the Germans. Would like more but we simply can't turn that amount down.

I doubt we would turn down 2.5 million with only 18 months left on his current deal. Buyers are only going to pay what the club is willing to sell him for, no more.

  15. You can't spend money you havnt got. If the incumbent board do not have the necessary finance to take us forward then they should step aside and give someone else a shot. Our club needs to find investors who have what it takes and we can only spend what's necessary once we are in a position to do it.

As for Barry Ferguson. You can say this and that about him if you will. The guys a Rangers legend. I don't give a fuck if he's writing for the daily scummy record. We have ex Ranger players who constantly fucking have a dig at us (Butcher), a Rangers player who played for them  (Miller), loads of ex players who are incapable of sticking up for us. The problem is too many fans are not weighing up what the player done for us against what has pissed us off. Sorry but Fergusons legacy is more than that.

Another wee roaster who could have 'invested' some of the millions he earned out of the club and who, like his brother, appears happy collecting their 20 pieces of silver from the DR.

A "wee roaster" who was imo the best Rangers player since Gazza/Laudrup and decided to give most of his footballing career to this club. 15 trophies, captaincy, European final, last 16 CL, legendary performances and goals including many against our rivals. Colossal player for us. I don't see why he should invest anything when no other ex-players are required or expected to.

Memories are short when it comes to our clubs history sadly. What we would give to have a Barry Ferguson now.
