  1. Lloyds and MIH agreed a debt for equity swap for £150m. I do know that Lloyds pushed Murray to sell RFC as I was told that by a Lloyds director at their AGM in 2011 just after Whyte had taken control of RFC. There is no doubt in my mind that Lloyds forced the sale of RFC as part of that debt reduction deal.

If i remember correctly, Lloyds put their own man in to run Rangers at this time, so Murrays hands were tied.

  2. Suggestion. Could a thread be pinned entitled "what the papers say - rubbish bin" to put all these bad press stories in? then if you want to read them you can if you don't then don't but at least they'll be marked as rubbish. it's not good giving these journalist the time of day, they want a reaction as it gives them a kick.

  3. found this:-

UEFA sells the broadcast rights in a three season basis and various packages are available for bidders, with UEFA weighing balance between free and pay television under the UEFA and European Union (EU) agreement. While balancing between free and pay television, if the rights do not sell within "sales windows", the rights may be sold on an individual basis to pay-per-view television broadcasters.[1]

Maybe this is why the SFA want our TV rights

  4. Totally agree with this article, these questions do need to be answered. Lindsey Herron is correct when she says

Patience is going to have to be the key for everyone involved at Rangers in the coming years. The bottom line is that unless there is a seismic change to the reconstruction plans the next couple of seasons will be tough.
  5. Gary Mabbut was talking on SSN less than an hour ago , saying that he's been talking to Gazzas medical team in the UK and in Arizona and that even though Gazza is in intensive care ,his condition is not life threatening .

There's hope yet, keep fighting Gazza, you can do it x

  6. So is this the rumour so far ...

TWIX was the night before Christmas when Charlie was seen getting into a TAXI to the MILKY BAR, to meet Mr Terry's to do a deal. Just AFTER EIGHT They left and sources have sightings of them entering the LION BAR, MARS BAR and STAR BAR.

Discussions between them are rumoured to be that the 72 bar will be renamed the TERRY'S CHOCOLATE BAR for two seasons and that there would be a healthy BOUNTY in it for the club. If the rumour is true it will be met with sheer TURKISH DELIGHT.

Charlie, a very good business man, wants to BOOST the bank balance of the club, and knows how to push the CHOCOLATE BUTTONS of a would-be investor, without getting his SNICKERS in a TWIST.

A few WISPA's at Ibrox suggest that TERRY'S CHOCOLATE ORANGE may sponser a strip, which came as a KINDER SURPRISE. It will be no PICNIC pushing this through. As many would jump on the WAGON WHEEL, spouting hot AREO, but Charlie won't be held by the CURLY WURLY'S. The guy is a HERO.

So, the future looks like a bed of ROSES and the bears can have a PICNIC for the many CELEBRATIONS to come our way.
