    Just a wee tribute to the guy. Whether he stuck around for the money or not, the guy's been solid for the last four/five years, and loyal to the team. He's been the best number two we could have asked for.

    Now we're in talks with him over a new contract, couldn't be happier for the guy, finally getting his proper chance at the world's most successful team. He's not walked away at the first or second opportunity, and I'd be delighted for him to be the keeper to see us through the next three years.

    So well done, Neil, a solid keeper loyal to the club and the right man for between the sticks!

    My message to our players

    When we do eventually get our licence tomorrow, it's time for all our players, young and old, new signings or the good guys who didn't leave us, to step up to the mark.

    To the new guys we'll no doubt sign in the coming weeks, forget what you have experienced before with your previous clubs - You're at Rangers now. 

    A club that makes history, instead of just making up the numbers. A club who's name is known everywhere you go around the world. A club with a magnificent support that doesn't know the meaning of 'defeat' or 'second best'.

    To the young lads and players who never left when the chips were down, this is your chance to make yourself living legends. 

    History will recall the famous Rangers team that dragged itself by its bootlaces from the very bottom of the Scottish football leagues and won its rightful place back at the top again, through hard work, integrity and the will to win.

    So, when you pull that famous blue jersey over your heads, think about the legends who came before you, who built the history, won the trophies and won the adulation of the support. Your football jersey might feel a little big when you put it on -

    It's up to you to fill it now...

    I'm afraid so. I have pleaded for them to point to a single post that they object to, but they can't <cr>.

    I only hope the Admins put a stop to these attacks,they are clogging up the threads with abusive posts. I'm sure it's deterring other Gers from joining the debates.

    I stress though, it doesn't deter me from having my say.

    Apparently not. I had a whole thread devoted to me earlier, but it seems to have been immediatley removed :lol:
