  2. This Friday we are proud to host Charles Green, Chief Executive of Rangers. The response has been phenomenal with the event being completely sold out within 24 hours of tickets being made available. This has allowed us to raise £1,500 for The Rangers Charity Foundation. Mr Green has been outstanding in his availability to the Rangers Support with this is being another fine example and I’m sure he will have an answer for every question asked. Since the event is sold out, if there any questions that anyone would like asked could you respond and we will endeavour to try and put the questions to him and report Mr Green’s responses. Doors open at 7pm this Friday, and we would ask that everyone could try and be in for half 7 so that we can started straight away with the Q&A that is scheduled to begin at 8pm. 9. This Saturday Rangers will play Queens Park at Hampden in the oldest derby in world football and to celebrate this we have invited David Leggat along to do a book signing for his new book ‘Great Scot – The James Scotland Symon Story’ at The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium. The book is priced at only £15 and is a cracking read! David will be along from twelve noon to watch the game with us taking advantage of our unrivalled televised football coverage with the game shown on six 60” TVs in High Definition - the perfect viewing environment for those not at the game. After the match we will have a Q&A with Leggo who promises to tell us ‘what’s going on and reveal the plans the new Rangers regime have for Rangers.‘ For those attending the game who wish to attend, the Q&A will be at around 3:30 giving you enough time to get over. In addition, we will be having a free raffle for two signed Rangers tops from this season. We will also, of course, have the traditional free rolls and tunes so why not come in for The Premier Rangers Supporters’ Matchday Experience in The Quintessential Rangers Supporters’ Pub. 10. All the staff at The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium would like to wish all the Rangers Family a very Merry Christmas! This year has been traumatic for both the club and our supporters but our fans have shown resilience, commitment and above all loyalty that no other club can boast. From that fateful day on February 14th until Charles Green’s consortium offer was accepted and rescued the club from oblivion were the worst and most worrying days of my life following The Rangers. From these troubled days until now, the turnaround has been not only remarkable; it is the stuff of legend. We will tell our grandchildren of these times, and they will tell their grandchildren – and they will think we are exaggerating when we tell them of sell-out 50,000 crowds and 6 hour queues for season tickets! In my opinion, this season is the most significant period in our 140 history for The Rangers Support and to paraphrase Winston Churchill – This is our finest hour. I don’t think it would be proper to finish this Christmas greeting without a mention for all of our armed forces at home and abroad – Our thoughts and prayers go to them and their families. I’d also like to mention our emergency services - police, ambulance, and fire brigade – who so many people depend on across this festive period. And last, but not least, I’d like to raise a glass to absent friends: Forever in our thoughts. No matter where you are in the world, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope to see you on Boxing Day. We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium - More than a Pub
  11. This weekend Rangers will play Elgin away from home and the match will be available to purchase from RangersTV.tv – We will not be showing this game. The primary reason for this is that we were asked not to by Rangers. The club believes that sales could be detrimentally affected if pubs show the game and in addition could lead to a weakening of the clubs position in any future TV contract negotiations. This is what the club believe and therefore we take the same position. We requested an opportunity to take out a commercial package to show the games, however, Rangers are not in a position to offer such a deal under the restrictions imposed on us under the current TV deal that we had to accept to gain our SFA License. The club has intimated that they will try to sort out a commercial deal for next season so we are hopeful as we have all the facilities in place to showpiece these games. I would like to take this opportunity to clarify that we are no longer associated with The Louden Tavern in Duke Street. We feel that The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium needs our full attention; such is the scale of the project. We anticipate we will be making improvements for another two years before we get to a level we are satisfied with. We believe we have the greatest club, the greatest fans, and we believe we will have the greatest pub. Hope you enjoy the journey with us. We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium – More Than A Pub
  12. The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium will be open at 4pm for Today’s game against Annan Athletic – the last home game before Christmas. As is our custom, we will provide free rolls, an atmosphere second to none and for clarification – we don’t and never have had a cover charge. Come in for The Premier Rangers Supporters’ Matchday Experience in The Quintessential Rangers Supporters Pub. Situated across from Ibrox Subway Station, with trains running until 11pm, there is easy access to all city destinations. Although not completely finished, the outside drinking area will be available along with 6 patio heaters to keep everyone warm. Inside we have unrivalled televised football coverage second to none with six full HD 60” televisions in the bar area alone. In addition, We would like to announce that David Leggat will have a signing session on the 29th of December after the game against Queen’s Park for his new book on Scot Symon and will entertain us by answering a few questions. We’d like to thank everyone for the continued support of our pub and hope that everyone has a healthy and merry Christmas. 13. We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support. The atmosphere in the pub yesterday was fantastic and reflected the importance of the occasion perfectly on what was a special day for our club and our supporters. We had a fair few first time visitors in the pub yesterday and hopefully the enjoyed the match day experience that seems to be that wee bit special in The Louden Tavern and hopefully we’ll see them in the future. Seventy2 Magazine had a Talk in with Lorenzo Amoruso and appeared to be a roaring success. The big man came across as one of us and brought the house down with his parting remark of ‘Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger’. There was only a couple of wee downsides on the day – the first of which was that, due to a blocked drain, we had to close a bit earlier than we anticipated. We can only apologise but it was outwith our control – it affected our public bar and the bookmakers next door. We had emergency plumbers in last night and it should be fully operational within the next day or two. Unfortunately, with having the private function in the lounge, we could not transfer everyone through. And the other is that thing that we need to keep boring people with is the singing of certain songs that put our licence at risk. The majority of fans are fantastic and very supportive of what we are trying to achieve with the pub. We can’t let the tiny minority ruin it for the rest. Anyways, as I said, fantastic day and we can’t thank you all enough. Here is to the next 140 years! We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium - More than a Pub

  18. It has been just over a year since we became fully operational. In this time we have watched the most turbulent year in our club’s 140 year history unfold and during this time our support has shown loyalty beyond question – so much so that the world has been talking about Rangers. We, as The Quintessential Rangers’ Supporters’ Pub, have had the honour and privilege to experience this first hand. Over the past 12 months the pub has seen massive changes that render it unrecognisable from its previous incarnation. From the HD Televisions and aircon to the red, white, and blue interior and exterior – the changes are startling. The feedback we have had has been amazing. We genuinely appreciate the enthusiasm and support that has been shown towards the pub and will continue to strive towards our goal of creating the perfect matchday experience for our fans. We would also like to thank the staff who do a fantastic job. They have risen to every challenge we have presented them and they have never let us down. We are very proud of what we, with your support, are creating and look forward to delivering on our vision of what The Rangers Support deserve. Thank You We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium - More Than A Pub

  20. Even when we are very busy we always strive to ensure everyone gets served quickly - its why we have so many bar staff on and they all work hard to get your order. I think most people are surprised by how quickly they are served even though the pub is very busy. With regards to not being able to get in - once we are full theres not much we can do about it - we are first come, first served - so your advice of get there early is one I would certainly endorse
