  1. What do we do when there is a colour clash?
  2. Super Ally's mum would like it. That, and some other stuff.
  3. I attended a Referee's Annual Dinner and talked to a few refs, some of whom you have mentioned. This was around the time before they withdrew their labour. They were all beeling with the filth, and wanted action taken against them. Some, like Willie Collum, made it plain that they would rather give up refereeing than bow to tarrier pressure, and would continue to give decisions how they saw them. The mood was not friendly towards timothy.
  4. :mervan: An unidentified noise? I think he was close enough to identify the noise. In any case, as stated before, he had no grounds for booking Aluko if he couldn't see the incident...although Brines has previous for making up incidents in his head, like the lead-up to Diamond's goal against the filth a few years ago.
  5. Yes it was. McCoist said he heard the contact even before he'd had the benefit of watching it again. Brines must have heard it. Even if he didn't see enough to give the penalty, the sound of the tackle should have stopped him booking Aluko. I also read elsewhere that the BBC commentators heard the contact in the press area.
  6. They are intimidating certain refs, but certainly not all of them. There are refs who will not bow down to this shite, no matter how hard they try.
  7. Brines will take a hammering from the assessor for that performance.
  8. There are players in our team with balls the size of melons, and they would have won the title again. We've disagreed on another thread about ability of certain players, but we have guys who reach into their souls to win against the odds. Rangers would have been champions without being deducted points.
  9. If the thread is about Lafferty's comments, then what relevance does all that have?
  10. I liken him to someone like Alex Miller, who was never quite good enough for Rangers, but tried his heart out to contribute when called on.
  11. When you don't rate a player who year after year helps his team to win trophies, maybe it's time to wonder how much you really know about the game. I don't mean that as an insult, but sometimes people can't appreciate what some players are contributing. Pish players don't have medals galore in their display cabinet.
