In the last few games I thought Ally was saving him for this one......I don't understand why he was not used much, much earlier.
-
I don't understand why Ally continues fielding the big wage players when they are not performing. Doesn't seem to have the balls to drop them. This is my worry with Ally - is he ruthless enough?

A very depressing story and series of events has now turned totally around. Glasgow Rangers - Red White and Blue, and dam proud of it.
-
Great news. Looking forward to seeing him grow into a legend.

I dont know why titles would be taken away. We didnt fix matches, we didnt cheat to win them, why would they be stripped? Im sick of hearing about this nonsense
Me too, totally sick. I will NEVER accept this, and I expect my club to have the same view.

Thank you for sharing that with us. People are too quick to get on some players backs, so always happy to hear about good Rangers player behaviour.
-
A win is a win and happy to take that. No easy away games these days. For me only Wallace and Mckay get pass marks. We seem to be going through a phase of wildly missing the goals with the many shots.

Plenty of reasons for doing what we do. A lot of defiance is definately part of it, but for me biggest emotion is Anger - towards the haters and the media. Really pisses me off when you know they just can't say anything good about us. It'll never be the same again, coz I can't forgive.
Good article.

He definately has skill, and seeing him give 100% through a game should seal his starting place. Any new player deserves to be given a good run in the team. Hope he gets a few goals, but mainly hope he entertains.

There's no hiding that for big spells we can look pish, but we are doing the job required, winning games and blooding some youth. When we are in the top league again (whatever it is), I don't think many on show today will be in the first 11. I'm happy with progress so far.

A must have for any hoose. Will bring a tear even to a glass eye. Bootiful.
-
I don't really care who plays as long as we don't play one up front and watch all the cross balls cleared by the 4 defenders round the sole forward in the box.
Get it out of site early, then have some fun.

I'm very happy to hear Ally and Kenny did this. The right thing to do. I hope those who booed at the final whistle reflect on their actions - this is NOT the thing to do.
-
I really don't care who plays, as long as we go for it from the whistle. But as already stated, we have plenty league business before this. I hope the boo boys from last saturday have reflected on their behaviour, and will be up for the game on saturday. And as pennance, bring a friend.

Good stuff indeed. But what do we do to support such words? - make sure we pack out Ibrox every game. The haters are waiting for the dip - we need to make sure it doesn't happen.
-
Our biggest Allie is the time we have. After the big disappointmrnt today, I have cammed down, and am happily reflecting that this will make the young players better. Another building block for the future.
-
We don't have big guys or midfielders making late runs so in honesty so many crosses is pointless. We'd be better passing around the box looking for a quick 1-2 or through ball.
Agree with first point - when we get round a team, their is usually only one blue jersey in the box.
But disagree with second - we keep trying to pass through teams, but they pack the front of the penalty box - it's what they are set up for.
So we need to continue going round the outside of teams, but need bodies in the box
-
All the best for 2013. I especially agree with your statement-
'We will follow our team with ever greater vigour and with heart and voice'.
No stoppin us now.

I have no problems with lively debates on forums - it's what their for. Knocking about different opinions is ok. I happen to agree with the notion that Jig will struggle to hold down a first team place in the future, but I'll cheer him every time he comes on and off the field.
It is doing the team no good if the negative debate is transferred onto the terraces with fans getting on players backs. That really pisses me off.

From where I was standing, most I could see were also standing - and didn't hear any grumbles.

It was night and day, and surprised no more posts on this. Amazing how quiet 40k can be without a lead.

Apart from being a piece of scum...he ain't good enough for our current team by a long way

Brilliant, thanks for posting. Jeez but that brought back some memories. This was the Rangers team of my youth, I was at most of these games with my pal Robert, his brother big Corkie, and his brother in law wee Ronnie. We used to travel everywhere to see the Gers.
Great memories, particularly the John Greig goal at Ibrox when we ran up the park and scored after the Mhanks protesting (they were the same then) after their near miss. Brilliant.
To make it even better, I enjoyed listening to it it my new super duper headphones I got from Santa.
Yes, I really enjoyed that video. Thanks again.
Yes, the Greig goal - one of the few games I can really remember from back then - probably because we were 2-0 down at half time, and that goal was us winning 3-2.
I know we are hurting.. but someone has to say it..
