  1. Can someone please explain why Rangers deserve the hatred and bile that is being thrown around in the guise of Sporting Integrity (tm Peter Lawell) or plain old 'cheating'. I get the fact the tims are brought up to hate us. I get the fact the diddy teams don't like us. What I don't get is this argument of sporting integrity, or that we've cheated. Just what is it we're supposed to have done? Gone into administration? Motherwell were in administration for 2 years. Dundee were in administration for nearly 1 year. Livingstone were in administration for over a year. Oh, apparently we've brought the game into disrepute as well, anyone ever find out why? Not paying taxes? That tends to happen in administration, I'll bet my mortgage than ANYONE in administration has stiffed the taxman. I can't believe this Tim perpetuated myth is allowed to continue, as we all know, their MO is to repeat something enough times for people to believe it. Whyte was a mercenary who thought he could make a quick buck by taking Rangers off Ego Murray's hands, quick in and out of administration and sell it on. Blew up in his face when the taxman didn't give a verdict and his plan was laid bare. So we've apparently cheated too? Another tim myth. Why because of the EBT system? Even if the judgement goes against us, that's a point of tax law interpretation that ultimately we had legal and financial advice on was legit. It was never hidden and always reported. Any other country and our sporting bodies would be standing behind us fighting the taxman in this, but oh no, not our infected apologist run body. This needs to be stripped back to the bare bones of what it is. Rangers were sold to a man who wouldn't/couldn't put a penny into the club despite selling off most of it's future income, there was only one outcome from that. Nothing was illegal, we went into administration same as other clubs before us. Nowhere else is this considered against 'Sporting Integrity' whatever the that made up term is. If it was just fans spouting this nonsense you could let it go, but when journalists, broadcasters and SPL chairman start to bandy the term around, we need to knock this on it's head. Celtic created the term back when our UEFA cup final run was to their advantage in the league and ever since they have trotted it out when it suits them. It needs to be put away. Where was sporting integrity during the abuse? Where was sporting integrity after every single Celtic defeat? Where was sporting integrity during the tour of Japan? Where was sporting integrity during the ambulance chasing call-offs? Where was sporting integrity in the comments of their manager, with criminal and corrupt being banded about? /rant over
  2. Interesting, any this my last post until pre-mod is up. I always thought TBK were short sighted, no discussion with SPL/SFA, no plan for addressing budget problems and if newco was the only solution, no thought to no Euro money. Either that or they didn't want to have stewardship during these difficult times. I hope Bill Miller is the real deal, Americans run tight ships, so hopefully the guy is here to get the club back on it's feet and running properly, something TBK never seemed to want to deal with.
  3. As a RST life member I joined follow follow, was banned within 30 mins of starting posting because I disagreed with TBK and how they've handled it. Come to RangersMedia, it's where the koolkats hang out.
  4. As I understand it, the only thing TBK differed on Bill Miller was the form of the bid, i.e. successful CVA and transfer of Whyte shares rather than newco. TBK would lead us to believe there wasn't a substantial difference between them. So, now that Bill Miller has 'warmed' us fans to a newco, how long before TBK come in and trump his deal? I don't get the feeling BM is willing to engage in a bidding war, he set his stall out a while ago. Therefore for TBK to 'win' they only need to pay more than £11.2m and newco. Will it happen? Not sure I'd be happy with this lot who've embarrassed themselves jumping in at the last minute. They might have been a lot of fans choice but I get the feeling (certainly on here) they've burned their bridges? Do people here think it will happen?
  5. He pays £11.2m to old co and takes possession of the club (meaning Ibrox, Murray Park, players, staff, contracts the whole caboodle). Old co then has £11.2m in the bank and whole host of creditors. There really isn't any reason for refusing the CVA as the only asset in the company is the cash, unless there is some legal prejudice. I.e. it might hurt Ticketus' case against Whyte if they agree a CVA, or if HMRC contest the floating charge Whyte has.
