Sounds like the SPL are getting the flip side of the coin. They try to bleed us of money and now being told it will cost them more to get what they want (when they can't afford the original contracted payment ). Well played Mr Longmuir. Things need to be re-balanced (fairly, of course, for integrity's sake) and imo, this has created a more level playing field. If any other bids (SPHell apart) top £2m, the SPHell are doomed Time for 'reasonable' negotiations from the grim reapers of scottish football. If that fails, then scottish football fails, unless the SFL have the power to overthrow them. Not sure of all the legal stuff, but if the SPHell go to an early grave, will the SFL take over as the top league and form a new body? (i.e. also tell the SFA to fuck off?) I really hope that is what can happen, and does happen.
