Although the article states "I do not know if big Jock knew" it certainly is suggesting that he did without any substance. Poor article with zero evidence to back up the suggestive nature of this piece. Bears, this is embarrassing. We have no right to take the moral high ground. All child abuse needs to be investigated even within our own community and not used as a tool to score points......

We are not in any position to judge either. We also need to remind ourselves of that. We are not all the same just as they are not all the same. There is good and bad in all walks of life irrespective of culture and beliefs. C'mon bears open your minds! Support the team and let's lose the baggage.

Thankyou for the first installment of your research. I asked for someone to provide evidence that child abuse is exclusive to only one religion. Studying the results from your google search it would certainly appear that abuse does in fact only affect one religion. Try widening your search. I look forward to reading your next post with the results.

I think you missed my point. Child abuse is not exclusive to ANY religion. If you spend some time researching the subject you will realise just how thick you are coming across. There are some cases closer to home that have previously been hidden but available on google if you are interested. I am sure with your expertise in this field you will know the case I am referring to. This sort of stuff makes decent bears cringe!

Thebooler That is your rationale for posting about child abuse? Are we not preaching about morals and integrity on this very blog? I have mentioned before that there are abuse cases a lot closer to home if you dare to look. When you make statements like that provide some evidence to back up your claims. Listen, my point is that using this subject to score points - which is the only reason we are doing it should end, it makes us look as if we do not have a brain cell between us all!!

The point I am making is that if we are really interested in uncovering child abuse (which I don't think we are) and not 'point scoring' there are abuse cover ups a lot closer to home if we dare to investigate. This would not fit the uneducated bears agenda. Let's move away from this and focus on football.

Guys, surely we are scraping the barrel using child abuse to score points.......we are better than that! I work in child protection and can assure you that child abuse happens in every religion and culture regardless of what the uneducated bears would like to believe. This is embarrassing !
