  1. I'm not convinced by him yet, but he's just an example of what I'm not liking about the signing policy over the last few seasons - there seems to be much more of an acceptance over journeymen players than younger, hungry players that can make us money when we move them on. We can't always unearth Boumsongs or Cuellars but then thats to do with the scouting. Shitey players (Neil Murray) appear to be shitey scouts that result in us buying shitey players.

  2. Totally agree mate

I really expected the long ball at every opportunity in our game would have gone by now. Every week it becomes more difficult to believe that these players ARE being drilled in building from the back and keeping possession. It borders on the ridiculous...I would rather we began playing proper football and lost a few games in the learning process than produce this drivel for a draw every other week. If we can't rebuild our football ethos this season then we never will.

I'm in no rush to get back to the SPL and prepared to give Ally a season to get the team playing real football but I'll admit I have been less than impressed with the show so far.

I agree, I for one would accept defeats if I thought we were trying to change the style of play and we could see an improvement in the standards. The problem is we're stumbling along from one crap performance to the next

  3. As many have said, we're missing a fantastic opportunity to develop a playing style that is pleasing on the eye to all concerned. If we got nipped 1-1 with the team playing fantastic footy and just got caught on the break, we'd somehow accept it because we'd see the improvements they were trying to make.

We should have upwards of 70% possession at this level and the players at our disposal but we look so disjointed it's a joke. We have full time players (well that's debatable) against part-timers and we look unfit. However, we look shite! Last week's 5-1 papered over some cracks but we looked crap that day as well for the first 30-40 mins. Shite in Peterhead, poor at Ibrox, shite in midweek and then crap yesterday - it's simply unacceptable and if it takes 1 month of full time training OF THE CORRECT NATURE to get it sorted then get the lazy fuckers in and if they don't like it show them the door.

  4. We don't need their sympathy but what we do want is respect for taking the punishment dished out and looking to move on - that goes for the club, the board, the management, the players and the fans. But snidey comments from nomarks who haven't benefitted Scottish Football should keep their thoughts and focus on improving their own clubs without appearing to revel in the downfall of Scotland's biggest club.

This "letter" is pathetic from a CHAIRMAN of a club 2 leagues above us - we have no sympathy but we'll take the money you give us - hypocritical to the extreme!

  5. As said, they made their bed so they can lie in it! It will be a long road going through the leagues but that's the decision made and all connected with Rangers have accepted it, not liked it, but moved on now. If the money dries up from Sky for the SPHell then fuck 'em, I've said before I can't wait to see who goes bust first in that shit heap of a league. They couldn't wait to stab us in the back but karma is a bitch.

We are the biggest and best club in the land and it's only a matter of time before we take back our rightful place at the top and no one can then say we don't deserve it and won't it be sweet!!!

  6. I agree to some extent about the quality of football we've been playing and I thought he was weak last season after shipping the 15pt advantage with a mere whimper from the team and no change of tactics. It also hasn't been good this season so far but I put that down to the shambolic start of only getting our licence and bringing in players a matter of days before the first game.

However, the way he carried himself following 14/2 until CG started becoming vocal means he DESERVES our support for at least this season. The quality of football will need to improve, yes, but once the team is settled I'm hoping this will come. Confidence will breed good football and that'll come once we've stretched away from the pack. :uk:

  7. If we are playing songs with revelance then it's got to be

Yazz the only way is up being played at Ibrox next!!

HATE that song and too fast for a big fans sing-a-long! As mentioned in the OP, I just like the fact that we're all singing along to something that can't ever be construed as sectarian so encouraging families to go along and having that friendly atmosphere that will help us win friends in the lower leagues. That will wind up the SPHell clubs and the media even more!

  8. Most people looking from the outside in to the Premiership are envious of the money it generates - all supported by Sky, if that disappeared (unlikely as it may sound) then there would be insolvencies galore!! That money certainly allows them to buy a far better quality of player than, say, we could ever afford but Newcastle and all but one of the clubs in that league will never be as big a club as Rangers. I don't mind Newcastle, great team to watch in the 90's and love the passion their fans have but don't like Pardew (as mentioned earlier). However, if Ashley wants to shove a few players our way on loan because theyre not in the squad of 24/25 for the Prem then I'd be happy.
