  1. Maybe I'm being paranoid here but smart TV's that can listen in to conversations at home, mobile phones that can identify where you are at any given time, now facial recognition for footie fans(for starters). Big Brother really is working overtime to destroy our civil liberties.

Phone GPS can be turned off, smart tv's listening to convos is an urban myth

  2. Id be more concerned about getting goal line technology first, also facial recognition at football stadiums? Berwick vs Annan on a Wednesday night with a couple hundred there and these clubs are being forced to install it if this goes ahead, along with overcosts of maintenance and employing someone to watch the cameras? Will drive these kind of clubs under, also surely cant just put it in the higher division clubs as that would be unfairly targeting fans based on the teams they support

  3. Its many years now since the shambles of of 2012, however as we enter 2016 this could be the most up lifting year for Rangers fans. Seeing the way our club has been treated and as each new year turned in we wonder what more was in store for us. 2016 surely promises a more exciting year for us all at the Rangers family. Stability, exciting football, off the park antics being sorted, 2016 be a defining year for us to make a statement to Scottish football, we are back, we are not going away, We are the People

  4. Playing a 4-2-3-1 Wide looking like this and have lost 4 games in 25.

    -----------Wes---------

    Tav---Wilson---Rob---Lee

    -----Holt-------Zelalem----

    Baz---Gourcuff------Temps--

    ------Waggy------------

Gourcuff signed on free in November when his injury was subsiding, also Renato Sanches just signed from Benfica (loan) get him if possible, miles ahead of rest of midfield. Jason Cummings also signed for my whole budget (425k) but have found rarely using him due to Waggys form.

Punt Shiels, Law, Aird, Clark and Miller, be lucky to make any money but save the wages.

Ball Wilson and Kiernan get rotated

Zelalem fitness is an issue so 45-60 mins a game keeps him fit.

McKay getting rakes of assists but would recommend a higher rated AML than Temps so waiting for my Jan window to open.

  5. After watching last nights game then watching some games abroad there seems to be a contrast on what is done around the game. I was thinking what things do people think on match days could be improved in or around the park. Ill give you some examples of what ive thought needs tweaking:

Distribution of balls from ball boys/girls: When the ball goes out of play it seems to take an age for the ball to be retrieved and players being able to resume play. Im unsure of how many match balls are provided but in Champions League games, the flow of the play is rarely interrupted due to the quickness of the ball going out of play and being placed back to a player.

Additional Time: Always seems to be the standard 2/3/4 mins of extra time despite those 4-5 subs taking approx 20-30 secs on average to leave the field. This can easily add to 2-3 mins. A slow corner that takes about 30 secs to take or a couple of throw that also take 10-20 secs never seem to be accounted for. I would genuinely like to know how much football is being played in terms on the ball on the park.

Billboards, close proximity barriers: Law says minimum of 1m, however the speed of some of these guys now is incredible, full flight down the wing on a wet night only to be nudged at the last second before the pass/cross and you see players slam into the surrounds. Surely alternative measures should be in place to protect players from avoiding injury.

Captains: Captains need more power on the park to control their players or the captains role needs to be ditched. It seems strange to have a "quiet" captain who has no influence on the game and in other teams there are more than one or two players with great leadership skills.

Law makers are constantly looking to improve the game with slight tweaks here and there, the new offside law is very good in practice and encourages more goals, however the new head to head rule introduced a couple weeks ago is slightly confusing and leaves the referees with an impossible task of managing genuine head butts.
