You make a good point, Getstiffed -- we need also to look at Ally's total record as a manager of the Gers. Last year was a bit rocky but still the team and the manager achieved the goal of getting out of the 2nd Division as champions. The previous season was OK until administration hit. The European performances were abysmal. All of this needs to be weighed in judging Ally's record. However, I think Ally's on a steep learning curve and the results are getting better in terms of winning percentage. Could be better, of course. The acid test will come next year and the year after, for sure. But I still cannot see why there is such vitriol against Ally.
