  1. These people displaying such a staunch defence of Green are leaving themselves wide open to disappointment and embaressment, Rangers never once crossed the mans mind until money was spoken of and that's the driving force behind his involvement, noone can deny that. Yes, success of the club goes hand in hand with that but considering the situation we're now in, when it comes to boardroom battles and a war for control, when pressure is applied, just wait and see how much the well being of Rangers weighs on Greens decision making. It's a dangerous game this taking sides and Whyte should have taught us that not everyone can be trusted, every Rangers fan should be critical of all sides and question everything, especially during the rebuilding of the club.

I don't know how this will all end but I cant see Green being in the picture. I don't believe the majority of Rangers supporters will get behind him again.

  2. We're not the most demanding supports

    That's my whole point

The majority clearly feel we haven't reached the point where change is imminently required. Ally still has room to change opinion, whether it be to his benefit or downfall, with his job being brought into question you can bet that the support are watching closely and tbh I believe this season is either sink or swim for Ally.

  3. I'm not short sighted

    Just honest

    Maybe you should try it

So Ally has a job for life regardless of results? One of, if not the most demanding supports will put up with stagnation and unsatisfactory football just because it's Ally who is the manager?. Aye nae bother mate. Ally has been awarded more loyalty than you're average manager at your average club but the loyalty must be justified and if Ally fails to please the fans then he'll hear about it.

The squad looks ALOT fitter than last season and the new signings (Foster/Smith apart) look to be spot on and a definite improvement. I don't think he's long term either but I am definetly willing to back him 100% this season within reason.

  4. Pish? Listen mate I've seen time and time again dropped points and cup exits yet the same ones keep singin super ally and he's kept in a job

    Time for change

    He's driving fans from Ibrox

    Hopefully the return

Time and time again in what, 2 seasons? If you think the fans will accept 2 more seasons of what we put up with last season then you are indeed very short sighted.

Ally's driving fans away? Don't worry, they'll return when the good times are back and were winning leagues, they'll be there for the celebrations no doubt.

  5. Brain dead is apt IMO

Singing Super Ally keeps him in a Job for life regardless of results

Might be short sighted but ill see if I'm proved wrong

    Pish.

If we drop points on a regular basis in the league this season, and the footballs rotten, then Ally will be made aware that it's unacceptable, from Mather/the board and the fans. Anyone reading that post would think Ally got an easy ride of it last season.

  6. So you don't think he's the right man for the job, but you'll give him this season. Will you too sing "super ally" on Sat? For the guy you don't think is the right man. Contradictory, no? Laughable?

I've never wanted Ally to fail. I've never slagged him off. But the performances and subsequent excuses continue to be appalling.

Even if we win this league which i think we will, I really don't think Ally has it in him to beat the other mob without spending millions ( which we don't have but they do). I think a tactically astute coach brought in now would give us a fighting chance.

I don't believe he is the right man for the job, long term... but we've given him money to sign new players and I do believe if we had Bell in goals, Law in the middle, Mosnhi at CB and Daly/Clark upfront we would have walked that game. I think the best option is to give him till January, we'll gain promotion and if the football doesn't improve then at the end of the season we part ways with McCoist, who's contract I believe expires then?. I was just as angry and upset as anyone after the game but I've calmed down and have decided that I want to see where he takes us from here. I see no major need for immediate removal.

  7. Tottenham should take anything over 80m and pay for Bales travel over.

The guy is an exceptional player but the money Spurs would receive, if they were smart with it, could allow them to build a team of 11 men rather than relying on one man so much.

Imagine they turned it down and Bale ended up with a serious injury and spent most of the season on the treatment table? They're risking him having an off season/injury and never receiving an offer like it again.

  8. There was no "neither" option provided which i would have voted for.

My view is that the majority of supporters think it would be best for the club if Ally was not the manager, and I am one of them.

Then get along to Ibrox with your banners and signs suggesting so.

Oh how laughable alot of people will look on this forum if 'Super Ally' rings out on the 10th vs Brechin.

I don't believe Ally is the man for the job either but I'd give him this season.

  9. Ally will see out the season, you can't let him sign players then sack him after elimination from a cup where these players werent allowed to play.

Yes, that team were good enough to win it, if we'd taken a chance or two I wonder if all this shite would be going on.

Ally isnt long term material but he shouldnt be sacked, if he can't deal with it he should resign.

Also anyone who thinks he deserves sacked for his little outburst? Green isn't long term material either.

  10. If Walter walks can we expect protests at Ibrox? He was instrumental for Green in getting the fans on side, as was his backing of Ally and in return Allys backing of him.

You CAN'T judge the Rangers support by gauging the opinion of any online forum.
