The problem stems from Wallace and Tav too far up the park Wilson and Kiernan go wide we are like a easy slut in the middle at times.
HaHa, so basically what we need is a good DM in the hole.

The press are gung ho for Warburton to criticize anybody, the man just will not do it despite their many attempts.
Considering Raith Rovers players were falling about all over the place I can see Danny not wanting to dive in. The saying fucked if you do fucked if you don't is paramount in here sometimes.

He can't defend. I was a ropey Junior level defender myself and as they say it takes one to know one. His positional sense and awareness are very poor, he is being exposed by very ordinary wingers.
Tav's good stuff has been in attack, both our back think they play at CF. However defensively he is so bad he plays in a team with the least goals conceded.

Just wondering what everyone's opinions are for the current squad and how some players will cope in the SPL. No doubt Warburton will add more players so we don't know what positions he will be likely to fill but who will make the grade moving up. For me some may find it tough, to name one for example danny wilson against better teams and may end up as a squad player.
Seem to recall the Defense were good against Kilmarnock and Dundee, it will be interesting this preseason, hope we see some good opposition to test us.

Come the end of the season Forrester is a free agent, hope we can thrash out a deal to keep him at Ibrox.
-
We have two players coming in on pre-contracts, wonder how they fit in...
-
Prefer us to win every game until the end of the season, don't see why not.
-
Saw it sniffing around Broxi, wonder if there's a bun in the oven...

Rest in peace John knowing Rangers are back where they belong.

Waghorn has been missed, Miller has filled the void and done an admirable job but Waghorn when playing well was bullying defences and holding onto the ball to allow other around to get into the play. Miller is a great sub to bring on and grab goals in the last half hour.

Only voted for Forrester, want to see much more from the likes of Law and Sheils, Templetons getting an Ambulance out of Ibrox, Clark has blown any chance he had with his lack of anything.

Excellent video, some lovely goals there.

This thing about MW not having managerial experience in Europe is a bit of a red herring, every single manager in the game didn't have managerial experience in Europe until they were given the chance!
MW will take each game as it comes and will ensure that the team is as prepared as much as possible by studying the opposition and ensuring that the team know exactly what they should be doing.
As for the squad I would expect Forrester (I hope) gets a new contract, we have the two players on pre-contracts, hopefully Ball will come to us on loan again if not a permanent signing and I'm sure there will be a few more additions on top of that. The management team also keep a close watch on the lads out on loan and I would like to see some of them become permanent members of the squad which will boost numbers and should be good enough to play in the top flight.
People keep talking about bringing in top quality players, well just maybe those players are already at the club and just need to be given a chance.
The way Warburton goes about his business you know he is sending these guy's out to get experience for the first team, if their are any gems in the youth he will know.

Wish him all the best at Accrington Stanley, one of the good guy's.

Some want to judge players after 30 minutes, yet we have had Rangers Legends who have taken six to twelve months to fit into the team. Go figure...
-
Give im time...

You have to admit Lee can play anywhere down that left side because he does.

Yip enjoyed that, there was a lot of composure there.

Thanks for that clip mate as it shows the move that was on my son's video used by SFA coaches for young players, as said in my post ...... should've watched it first before posting to get the correct term ..... "The Cruyff Turn", but the name itself does not do the move the justice it deserves ...... you do really need to see it to appreciate the skill involved.
Well we do have the Govan flick.
Some of the skills on show are mesmerizing.

Valid points and I agree if we can qualify for Europe we'd need better calibre of player but I think warbs is looking longer term and will actually want to develop players rather than sign new players for an instant impact in Europe.
the chances of us even getting through the prelims are slim as they always have been so I think from a business point of view it would be wrong to spend before qualification is guaranteed.
Shoot me down if you want, but how many times have we played teams in the early round that have no stars and you think how did they beat us. we look like one of those teams.

Well if it's stats!!!

Mrs doesn't allow any green in the house, does do khaki though don't think that counts, or to put it this way if it's good enough for our armed forces.
Harry Forrester eyes new Ibrox deal

Forrester deserves a 3 year deal, we would be mad not to, some people are thinking of the previous Management team, Warburton and Weir don't need the incentive of a new contract to get these guy's to play.
