The squad we have right now ain't good enough to go up and win that league next year. We need better players in the summer and that's exactly what we'll get.
TBH I'm not sure if thats true, a few additions and this squad might surprise us next season. As some much wiser heads have said, let's win what we can this season and then worry about that.

He says there will be 5 or 6 players coming in those will be the two guys on precontract, signing Forrester on a new deal, possibly extending the loan on Ball and resigning some of the guys that are at the end of their contracts, Warburton said it himself, some of these guys are good to have around as they have been there and done it, so write them off if you will, Warburton isn't. If we are in Europe things might change.

Fair play to the op he's done a lot of work on this, however the only analysis we need is 11 points clear and 21 points to play for.
PS. Don't forget the game in hand....

Did you know that player Hipposhite also scored against us for Livingston in November ... iirc he run Tav ragged that day too. Houston knew that - we forgot..
Call him heaposhite whatever, it doesn't take away from the fact he was the most effective player in that second half, at times we dithered on the ball when it should have been cleared and we didn't stick to the game plan, we started trying to throw long balls up to our front guy's.

We were playing for the points to win the championship, falkirk were playing to finish second. We thought it was game over, falkirk showed more desire and ripped the points out of our hands. We need to remember these teams are playing for something as well.

I'm told in his first 6 months Mark Hatley took pelters and was referred to as the slug
MOH will be the first name on the team sheet next season
MH is a legend, hope MOH can be half the goal threat big Mark was.

Want us to lose? Listen, mate! I got up at 5.00am to watch us fuck it up big time against Falkirk and all day and night I've been going around like a fucking Tasmanian Devil with a rocket up its arse in a bad mood, so under no circumstance would I want to see us lose, even if it meant the scum winning the title; hypothetically or not.
I'm with you on that one mate, real downer all day.

I'll be sticking with Wallace to score and us to win @7/1. Think it will be 2-0 in any case.
Wallace to score is a good bet, he looks shit hot at the moment.
If the Ref doesn't decide to help them along it should be a easy game.

Wasn't stifled against Dundee.
If Ball is sitting there you still have the two midfield players plus the three forwards with a full back also joining in. I think that is more than enough going forward. Ball just needs to keep it simple with the passes. We can get away with Halliday in there in the smaller games and mostly at home but I feel more confident in us defensively when Ball is in there, especially in big games.
Aye we did play well against Dundee....

Different circumstances, I said people were vastly overrating Dundee before the match and they were not any better than Kilmarnock. However this is an away match against a team who we've only beat twice in our last five meetings. Some would say we didn't deserve the victory in the 1-0 recently.
If we take our chances we'll win by a couple, but I think it could potentially be a very tight affair throughout. Hopefully we pump them 5+ though.
Aye, some being Peter Houston and the timmy press...

I think we are far too open when Halliday plays DM. We are left short when the other team counter attacks. For me, especially in big games, Ball has to play DM.
You could counter that with when Ball play's we tend to be a bit more defensive, and it stifles midfield creativity.

There's more than the ambitions of Warburton going into this, there's the magnificent following that has been there from the start of the journey(1872), there's the board and the players, the temple of football Ibrox. This lot will drag us and Warburton and Weir back to European football. Can we win in Europe, I know we can....

I'd have absolutely no problem if Halliday played. The only toss-up was between O'Halloran and Halliday.
The toss up is between Halliday and Ball, I would play Halliday.

I'd like to see us hammer Falkirk 5-0, or 6-0, just to see Houstons after match interview.
He'd have to admit that we were, by far, the better team, and deserved our win, but would probably say that the game was never a 6-0 score line, and blame it on, poor refereeing decisions, offside goals, they should've had 2 penalties, 6 breakaways, etc etc etc.
After his last tirade I can see him complaining that we ate the orange segment's in our dressing room at half time.

Ironically enough you were the first person to actually question his judgement through his use of loan signings, but thanks anyhow.
Never been one to question Warburtons judgement, just whether the loan system can really give us what we need. Also that should have been, we have to trust his judgement, a general statement not referring to yourself.

If he doesn't have a lot of money to spend the our signing patterns will remain the same for a few years at least.
It's not about spending money is it or we would have been up there last year. Warburton has shown a real verve for bringing in the right people for every position, playing and backroom. You have to trust his judgement.

Some jolly japester had a birthday cake made for her husband...the outside was beautifully finished, and decorated in white icing, with Rangers crests and red white and blue stars, then asked the baker to include a wee surprise...when cut into it revealed layers of green and white. Iain took it well.
Oh the craic, as poor Iain cut into it and realised he was about to become famous. The BBC have interviewed him, it has made the baker very popular too ( I bet it has) with her social media lighting up. She even said it wasn't the first time she had been asked to do it.
Meanwhile in a parallel universe, can you imagine if it had been done to some septic fan?
Mother " When wee Declan cut intae it, we saw the red, white and blue inside, ma mother had a heart attack and nearly drapped deid. Poor wee Declan started screaming and we had to take him to the infirmary tae get him tranquilised. Ah'm suing the bitch that made that for everything she's got. We phoned the Iraish Embassy, and they advised us to push it as far as we could, get compie aff everyone"
That has got to be divorce material right there.

We have sell outs all the time, our attendance figures are frightening to most of Scotland. Would like to see them fix the restricted view seats and do something better with segregation for opposing fans, that big empty swathe of seats pisses me off.
