  1. It's only myself I'm after pal. Thanks for the offer though. Looking forward to tomorrow though I haven't been to Ibrox in a while because I don't get often. Will they be selling tickets at ticket office before game?

  2. I was with my mate in Dundee yesterday and we decided to go for a quick tour around Dens. We were taken around by Pat Linney, Dundee keeper from the 61 championship winning side. Really nice guy. Also bumped into Bomber who was speaking at a Pensioners Meeting that day mainly for old Dundee players. Seemed on good form. I've always quite liked seeing Dundee do fairly well, specially with Bomber at the moment.

I spend a lot of time in Edinburgh now so I don't mind seeing Hearts do well. I do wish them the best in terms of their money problems and hope the Foundation can steady the balance books.

I also have always liked East Fife for some unknown reason.

Just wondered if there were any other Scottish teams you didn't mind. Realise some might say none! But just out of interest.

  3. People who say they can't stand fans of other clubs. So you have no friends who support clubs other than Rangers? That's pretty narrow-minded in itself.

Other fans have digs that we were in trouble a bit ago. So? They support other clubs. If it was the other way around, pretty sure a lot of you would glee over other clubs having difficulties. I have plenty of friends that support other clubs, we have a bit of banter, take the piss, and get on.

Some folk need to grow up!

  4. Wouldn't have a football club without Charles Green and his consortium. Some of the silly things he's done since that don't change or nullify that fact.

Plus what he said at the weekend was correct it's realistic to expect Ally to win the league and a cup (Ramsden anyone?) (tu)

Pretty sure saying that kind of speculation in public isn't correct. What's correct about a club employee speculating about a manager's job in the media? I'm amazed so many fans here believe that is perfectly fine. Not forgetting Green also asked the manager to sack his backroom staff not so long ago. Is that really the kind of person we want running our club? He should not be interfering in team affairs and his opinions, fine behind closed doors, are a disgrace for a person such as him to make in public.

  5. What is happening to our club now?? This is heartbreaking.

If this turns out to be Green orchestrating power for himself we should do our beat to starve that scumbag out. He did not save our club! We, the fans, saved our club. I do not want money-grabbing chancers like him anywhere near my club. If it's evident that he is trying to force Rangers men out of the door, I will not give him a penny in any more ticket-sales/merchandise sales etc.

Time to rally together to save our club.

    Green Out!

  6. Mouthing off about a club employee and speculating about a club employee's job is out of order. I'm not defending Ally for Forfar, this has got nothing to do with Forfar. What this is to do with is not wanting Green anywhere near our club.

What exactly did he say which was out of order?

    Mouthing off ab

    This has never been answered

  7. Don't want to make a big thing of this but it was in the back of my mind last few days.

When Walter was appointed as Chairman his remit was to restore stability in the boardroom. All was going well until the last day or so.

Given Walter's opinion on Charles and the fact he was never comfortable with him as CEO, did Walter not have the power as Chairman to veto Green's appointment as consultant? If he did, I'm astounded he let the move go through.

  8. Too many fans are seeing Ally as a club legend rather than our manager.

Yes he is a legend, and also our manager. But what other team would put up with the types of results Ally has pulled in?

"Let's put things into perspective though. It was last year's team playing – which did well for us last year – and we had eight lads in the stand who couldn't play but who'll feature.

How long will we hear this cop-out? Today's team isn't far off the one who beat Motherwell last season.

About time to put things into perspective and judge him on the park rather than previous accomplishments with Rangers.

It maybe is time to bring someone else in. But, Ally should be dealt with respect, not getting speculated about by his own club employees in the papers!

Aside from football, as I said earlier, Ally said "Green does not care about the club." I trust him. That worries me. I think it would be a dangerous time for Ally to leave. I do not want Green having having unlimited control.

  9. But what has Green actually done to force Ally out, say we need to win the league and a cup, I think that is what the majority of rangers fans at least expect. If any one is forcing Ally out it is himself with that formation today and his irresponsible comments afterwards.

He was having snipes last season trying to undermine him, the attempted coup of the backroom staff, then when he's only back for a day he's mouthing off to the paper saying Ally should be sacked if he doesn't win title and domestic trophy. Surely this is not a way for a club ambassador to behave.

I'm not saying Ally should be absolved of any blame, not at all. I think if someone decides should move on though it should be done with dignity not the bile Green spouts. This is Rangers. We do not air our dirty laundry in public. Why is Green so determined to do it now?

Lastly, Ally today said "Green does not care about this football club." No matter what I think of him as a manager, I do resect his judgement when it comes to his love of the club and what directon it takes. That statement is very worrying.

  10. This surely has gone too far.

Firstly, the buck today has to stop with the team for the result but no doubt, Green's comments did not help at all.

I'm not taking sides with either Green or Mccoist here but it is pretty obvious Green is doing everything he can to try and force Ally out. Surely, no matter what anyone thinks of him as a manager, he deserves far, far more than that. If someone decides his time is up, fine. He should not expect these outburts from Green like we had last season though. Green needs a gagging order.

    It has to stop.

  11. I really wish we could move on from all this. I am eternally grateful for what Green has done in terms of ensuring we still have a club to go and watch every week.

However, I thought we were doing absolutely fine after he left - obviously in a much better state when he first took over. We now have the right balance between 'Rangers men' who we can trust to keep the club in safe hands, and business people who will drive the economic interests in the club. I think we should keep that balance as we have it now.

Also, surely most sensible folk would agree that his outburst today about Ally having to win a Cup - rightly or wrongly - was bang out of order and just added pressure. What was he playing at with that jibe?

Also, just on a personal level, I couldn't support someone pulling the strings who is so determined to take Rangers out of Scottish football. Regardless of what has gone on between other clubs, I feel that our heritage is in Scotland and i would prefer we were winning titles and leading the way from our home country.

  13. Also done in terms of ensuring we still have a club to go and watch every week.

  16. Sorry if this has been posted earlier, not noticed it.

With the headlines though about alcohol being brought back to football I wondered what you thought of it?

Personally, I think its being pushed by them across the road because they are haemorrhaging support every game and they know season ticket sales will plummet next season.

I think its fine as it is. I'm happy enough just having a bovril at the game and going for a drink after. Don't especially want someone pissed sitting next to me at the football every other weekend.

    What do you think?
