We all know Dave kings not fit for purpose and this doesn't surprise me it's no really the time for this either off the back of yesterday's result and first day of new manager

King basically handed complete power of to Stewart Robertson for reasons unknown to me and this will be part of his remit entirely.

Kings more comfortable in Africa and Anfield .. the only emotional attachment with Rangers is the ego of being owner

King is NOT the owner of Rangers and never has been (at least yet anyway)

Also King did not hand power to Stweart Robertson it's his full time job along with the CEO to run the club that's what they get paid for.

As of right now King owns 15% of the shares so he has absolutely no need to meet Pedro.

  2. For me it was a moral victory going 1-0 down in front of a horde of 53,000 of them and for once the team showed a bit of character to come back.

A journey of a 1000 miles starts with a single step and yesterday might be the turning point. It's a new era with a new gaffer time to look ahead not behind.

  3. The plod don't even let young kids into Ibrox if a flag has a wooden stick on it what exactly do they stand around and do when a 20 foot bigoted banner gets taken through the porkhead turnstiles?

It's hardly something you could sneak into the ground.

  4. To be honest I think today showed in parts just how bad MW was and what could have been had we taken a different road last summer.

For the first time this season we looked like we had a bit of fire in the belly. Had Warbs been in charge after going 1-0 down the team would have folded and lost 3 or 4 nil.

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt the other day and told they'd been here almost 3 years rather than 2 off a lot of people. What was the date of the AGM they got voted in?

Where you getting 12 million from? they said theirself and it's on record that the club had no major debt and bragged what other club in the world can say that ... it was a pitch of theirs, it's there in black and white .... what considerable amounts to get Ashley out the club? the 5 million loan that was in King's manifesto pledge to start the notice period on the retail deal? Ashley is still here - it's a cheeky to word it the way you have to make it look like they're paying him off with the promised 30-50 million when in fact another thing Dave King said, on record was that he could "live with the retail deal"

What cost of getting a new management team in? can you breakdown this cost for me because what about the 44 thousand season ticket holder sales ... what does that revenue and all over revenue cover if not staff costs? ... are you discarding this income and trying to say King has paid for all the running costs of the club out of the 30-50 million?  .... Warburton and Weir won't get a pay-off either, they worked their notice, we called their bluff and got the result. This is the one thing I'll actually give them credit for.

No-one wants 30 million spent in one go ... and even if we did spend that, so what? if King said he had it to spend anyway?

There's so many holes in posts like that of yours and a few others on this subject - thankfully most are starting to wake up to the liars that are in our boardroom now.

They were voted in March 2015 at an AGM.

    1. The £12m plus comes from the fact that this season we needed almost £4m in loans to cover costs, next season it will probably be more given that the team will have to be rebuilt in the summer. Add two seasons losses to that I don't think it's that far away from a ballpark figure.

    2. The club does have debt in the form of debt for equity loans.

    3. The 44,000 st holders income was gone 3 months into the 2016 season so it's not exactly the vast pot of endless cash you make it out to be.

    4. The money to pay for Pedros (alleged) 300k compo did not come from ST sales see point 3.

    5. Living with a retail deal that deprives the club of tens of millions in income is not liveable no matter who says it.

Even assuming for a minute your 13 million figure is accurate - they've been here almost 3 years and promised 30-50 million to get us back where we belong front loaded if needbe - for some the debate is centered around him saying over 4 years ... fair enough so will you join me in agreement that next season Pedro is due 17-37 million to spend to get us winning the league and into the CL? After all that's only holding him to his promises and that's after some of the millions he even talked about got him his shares, kept the lights on and paid Ashley back his 5 million loan

im a reasonable man tho - doesn't have to be upto 37 million next season - how about 15? We could agree on that being fair surely?

This board has been in for 2 years not 3.

Firstly before a ball is kicked they will have to invest around £12m plus to cover the losses at the club over the next two years and that's just to keep the lights on.

Add considerable amounts to that try to get Cashley out of the club, cost of getting a new management team in,paying off Warbs (maybe) and ongoing repair costs etc.

If Rangers had spent £30m in one go the club would have been skint 18 months down the line then what?

Throwing money at our cause in the short term isn't good for us!!!, when every successful team does throw money at the short term to ensure they have a long term.

Ashley's retail deal is stopping investment, really or the reality is this board just don't/won't invest their own money but throw away the fans money in bad appointments, court cases etc. The old saying comes to mind, buy cheap in the short term and it costs you more in the long term and still no further forward.

So many posters on here have been brainwashed by Kings lies, as a matter of fact they are beyond help and keep repeating the same old mantra, no money, we are all you have, retail deal is killing us, it's Ashley's fault, it's a long term project, absolutely pathetic.

For Rangers sake this new manager has to succeed from the get go, if not I fear we will be years behind the scum and remember it took them 9 years to get back at us.

This board have invested £13m and counting so far so it's hardly like they've not put money in.

Lets just say hypothetically they start throwing £30m on players this summer all that would mean is debts of £20m+ and millions a year in losses 18 months down the road then what?  Probably admin or pinning hopes on an imaginary billionaire coming in no thanks.

That's exactly the same kind of short term thinking that put Rangers in this situation in the first place.

I honestly don't get wit cunts see in McInnes  They think he can handle the pressure of managing Rangers because he knows how big a club we are? and? people are forgetting he absolutely bottled the league with Aberdeen at least once when there was fuck all pressure on them.

Aberdeen absolutely bottled it not just once last season but a couple of times.

At one stage they had the chance to move 5 points clear but shat it big time, Mcinnes is nothing more than a middle of the road SPFL gaffer.

Winning the League for a few seasons doesn't count as a benchmark our success does over many many many and will say again many years.

Geraldine told me that when she was taking the Union Flag out her garden.

As usual your digging for any old excuse just to have a go at the board. What's next John Gilligan once crossed the road when the green man came on so he must be a tim?

If PM came out and said selllik are pish and Rangers will go on to win the league this season by 20 points you would be on here having a go at him for being detached from reality so I'm not sure if he could say anything correct in your eyes that would not draw criticism.

I do sometimes wonder if it was a coincidence that HMRC decided to single us out not long after reid was home secretary ... now if political interference is one day shown to have happened their titles really would be tainted

That lot being given advanced warning about the Juninho EBT right at the time HMRC started looking at Rangers was rather strange as well.

Whyte fails to pay tax for 9 months HMRC does nothing, Hearts fail to pay tax for 28 days and they are given a winding up order?  If HMRC had taken action against Whyte from the first failed payment things might have been different.

Still don't think we'll ever know the 100% truth about what went on but I've no doubt someone at that lot from across the city were involved somehow in what happened.

  11. Meh....and Scott Allan grew up not far from Ibrox and was a blue nose but it still never stopped him signing for the nonce. Alex Rae started out at Celtic, Kenny Miller scored against Rangers while at them all history.  It's what Pedro does from this point forward that I'm concerned about.

As for the feeder club pish who did they sign from Santos Laguna exactly?

Where we pulling 10 million from?

So 10 million on transfer, wages and agent fees.

Say 6-8 million in loses over the course of next year.

    A 20m investment?

Lot of people on here don't seem to grasp the fact that if Rangers spend £10m on fee's the club is also adding millions to the wage bill as well and the financial loses increase the following year.

Trying to outspend timothy right now while they have access to the UCL is never going to happen. Rangers have to start being smarter in player recruitment.

No more pish over the hill players past the age of 32 should be signed and we need to start looking at more young cross border players with potential who can be sold on for big money 18 or so months down the line.

Also extending our scouting of players past the English championship/League one might be a good idea as well.

why do you think king tried to get the rangers fans to withold season ticket money while ashley was in power?

that would have exactly the same effect

Short term maybe but what kind of shape do you think Rangers would have been in right now had the fans etc just sat on our arse and let Ashley rob us blind over the last 2 years? We would have seen more loans secured against club assets and more dodgy contracts that would have tied us up in knots for the next 10-15 years.
