I remember this one well as since I started supporting Rangers this is the only Old Firm game I haven't watched, lishened to or sat in front of Ceefax live. I was at a wedding that day. I taped it though and watched it when I got home smashed. Managed to avoid finding out the scoreline all day as well. What a win it was!

If Warburton was a top trump card - he'd get 10 in the 'Responding to and dealing with the scum who hate your club' category. Actually he'd get 10 in every category! A straight to the point, firm and may I say respectful response from our potentially new legend of a manger. Fuck off Stubbs!

http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/warburton-hits-back-at-stubbs_sto4869480/story.shtmlI've not heard or read such interview on an official capacity but twitter is awash with the following, and god I hope it's accurate. Go tell 'em Warbs.....
Mark Warburton on Alan Stubbs 'easy job' comment: "Any manager without the facts should keep his mouth shut and concentrate on his own club"
-
Well hopefully my factual insight helps you realise it was just a bad night. Questioning referees integrity is a Timmy activity - we are well above such shite.
I look forward to a better performance next time he referees us! Take on board your points completely. WATP
-
Correct but it does ridicule the accusations that he was biased.
Yes it does. But at the same time he has been very lenient against opposition players every time I've seen him referee one of our games. It's a tough job and I don't usually have a go at refs. But tonight was awful and booking Wallace whilst not giving the pen for the foul on Oduwa did make me wonder.
-
I wish people would stop questioning the impartiality of refs - that's for Timothy - they cause the refs to strike.
Refs can be not particularly great or just have a bad night - that's really all there is to it.
Yes I would agree normally. But tonight's performance just seemed particularly impartial. That's why I said what I said anyway. But if I'm wrong I'm wrong. First time I've ever posted about a ref. In hindsight he probably just had (another) bad game.
-
Because I grew up with him, let's just leave it at that.
Fair enough. Only going on what I have seen. Have seen him referee us a number of times and he's one who has stuck out. But as you said, will leave it at that.
-
Why's that?
-
Personally I don't think it's incompetence. This idiot tonight managed to spot anything that resembled a foul we made, yet missed the majority of fouls against us or didn't punish the ones he gave with a yellow or red. I remember him from the lower divisions and he was always the same. Spineless dirty bastard. I would certainly suggest his allegences are elsewhere.
In general the standard of refereeing is appalling. Slightly better in the SPL through.

Referee Stephen Finnie fast tracked to Scottish Cup Final appointment due to intolerance of disrespectful footballing skills displayed by Rangers player.
-
Fuck up, I'm mailing him a parcel packed wae dug shite first thing tomorrow.
Ha ha. Sending it to the Paedodome or Easter Road though?! Both would be my suggestion.
-
That's if he has / does sign of course! Find it weird the thread was locked then deleted if admin haven't had confirmation.

Yeah kind of. On another note please can we just calm down and not react as the mhedia want us to. At the end of the day in a footballing sense it doesn't matter hugely. What does matter is a self proclaimed Rangers fan choosing to join the scum. But let's not stoop to mini Celtic's level and abuse SA on Twitter etc. Sure he's public enemy number 1 2 and 3 right now from our point of view but the mhedia will be waiting for the abuse to start. Let's act like Rangers fans and just leave it. Onwards and upwards for the boys in blue!

In addition to that I would like to see Hardie given a chance. Sadly I don't have the faith that Clark can make it at Rangers. I hope he proves me wrong. Would love to see one of these two get 20 goals this season - but that would mean a change in formation I imagine or Waghorn being dropped. Waghorn was very good tonight with his link up play but he's clearly no McCoist type
-
I agree we need a poacher instead of another midfielder (Allan). I'd love us to get Allan but don't see it happening in this window. He'll be with us this time next season. But priority has to be a striker. The touted Spurs loanee I know nothing about. But if he's the potential to be prolific in the Scottish championship then let's get him in asap. Miller has looked sharp when he's come on as sub but we need someone who can play 90 minutes every week

I will reiterate my original response to the OP. Absolute rubbish! Wallace has been superb this season and we are now seeing him back to his best. Tonight he deservedly got motm. I imagine St Mirren had done their homework on stopping Tavernier (not much luck there although he wasn't quite as outstanding as his first two games). So Wallace stepped up instead. Well done Rangers and Wallace in particular tonight.

Absolute rubbish

Just had a look at odds for Sunday and 11/5 over 4.5 goals. To me that's just easy money. Last Saturday can't be taken as granted as that's how it's going to be all season - but surely we will score at least 5 against Peterhead?!

Hi Chris, I know you're reading because you have nothing better to do. You're a cunt. You know it, we know it, your mum knows it. Bigoted little lying fuckbag. Enjoy your season reporting on the insignificant smaller teams in Scottish football and have a long hard thing about what you've done wrong. Rhat bastard

Hoping there's a cough for this but pretty certain there won't be.

Welcome to the greatest club in the world Mark Warburton. Welcome back David Weir. As someone above said this is the most exciting and promising moment for our club since goodness knows when. A manager with good contacts in the game, attacking footballing philosophy and a successful albeit brief track record in improving a football squad. Hugely impressed with the work he did on the Next Gen tournament also.
Well done all the people who convinced the new management team to come to Rangers. Also want to say I wouldn't have been gutted with McCall as many have been saying, but I think Warburton will prove to be a superb bit of business. WATP!!!!!

As wind ups go, this gets 0/10 from me. Pathetic
Rangers Songs Downloads

Sorry to ask this again as I posted this question about 4 years ago. But I have searched and can't find the thread. There was a website that you could download loads of MP3 songs from - it was like an online hard drive. Does anyone know if it still exists and the web address? It had hundreds of Rangers songs from memory. Hopefully it has been updated with the Magic Hat!
