Just kept convincing myself it added to the excitement of the trip! Reading through the comments and its all coming back to me now, the old boy shouting at us to shut up before moving away was a personal highlight.

Before the match we were at the Jubilee, only lasted 15 mins as my mate became 'unable to walk' to put it politely. Then headed into West Street and found a decent place no bother. Somehow managed to also lose my match ticket during the journey, also managed to walk into the Leppings Lane end ticketless. Was an eventul journey to say the least. Where did you and your mate end up?

Personally think he should go out on loan, could probably play a higher level under more challenging circumstances out on loan. And with the capture of Cammy Bell, probably a higher earner, he will probably be no.1 regardless.

Yep that's me mate! Had to buy a new ticket from Sheffield to Manchester on the way back! The trip was worth the extra cash though.

Was anyone on this thread shown to a Preston off license from 2 lads? If so, what a trip! Hope you enjoyed it and that train journey from Manchester to Sheffield will live long in the memory!
