Like a number of players, he took a bit of time to settle,but when he did he was a treat to watch. As many have posted he was a joy on the pitch but a nightmare away from it. I always thought that he thought he was more important than the club and I can understand if some real true blues in the team at the time resented his attitude. Remember this was when some actualy did play for the jersey.( Shearer,Greig,Millar,Caldow and Wilson to name a few) He was never the same player 2nd time around,but his arrogance was still there. He was a great player but I dread to think what the present generation would think of his off field antics and the company he kept
