I live In Brighton and there is absolutely no word of any of this shite down here! Brighton - although a progressive club - sell their best players of late (Bridcut, Buckley, Ulloa, etc). Tony Bloom (Chairman) is a tight-fist and I really can't see him giving £3m in one go to anyone.

I also currently live in England and I work with a lot of people who support a host of different football teams, mostly Spurs, Chelsea, Villa, Liverpool and Leeds. The Leeds boys have a real empathy with us because of what happened to them under Ken Bates (a self-confessed Leeds hater) and are a real warning regarding sale and leaseback of stadium and training ground. The others really don't understand the ins and outs of what happened to us but most think it is a scandal and all of them are amazed by our level of support. Scottish football, in all the years I've been in England, has never been considered so lowly in the eyes of the English.
