Straight double on Albion & Arbroath tomorrow. Home advantage & superior attack makes them both look reasonably priced at Evens & 4/7 giving a little over 2/1. Probably two banker aways now but we'll see what happens!

Saints did a turn but disappointed I didn't retain my faith in Arbroath. Might cheer my mate up a bit. Leicester look a good price tomorrow following their cup win. Small bet on them just for an interest.

A wee win tonight for a change on Sheffield Wednesday. All,minus original stake, going on St Mirren tomorrow. A mate who is a Saints fan and is the most pessimistic football fan you could meet actually expects to win tomorrow, so that alone is good enough for me. If they lose, his funeral will be on Thursday!

Just watched the final of the German Snooker Masters. Anthony Hamilton winning his first title after 26 years of trying. Fantastic to watch and won with a brilliant plant when needing one more red. Ali Carter is a granite type of player and was cruising at 3-0 and 5-2 but showed what a sportsman and gentleman he is in defeat. After what he's been through, I hope he's back winning soon. Brilliant night!

Arbroath again today doubled up with Brechin. Over 4/1 for the double. Did 2 singles and a double last week due to the prices and Arbroath gave me my stake back but straight double today. if you're thinking of backing either, I would seriously reconsider!

A wee half time donation to the Bookies Benevolent Fund. Giving Arbroath one more chance. They're better than their recent form and a good price based on that. Going for St Mirren too. They've been up and down but are capable of winning today. Both around 2/1.

LDWL Hope I didn't put anyone off backing Doncaster! Rochdale were unlucky though. 4 breakaways against the run of play and, at one point, they won a throw-in. I'll post my lottery numbers later to help you narrow it down a bit. i'm off to my bed!

Today's teams to avoid- Rochdale Sheffield Utd Doncaster Arbroath A bit adventurous for me today but couldn't decide who to leave out. Rochdale were close but they are a good price. Accum pays 13/2 or thereabouts. A man can dream.....

Nick Henderson with the winner. Seems to be getting back to a bit of good form. Didn't get to see the race today, which I normally like to do, so don't know how it panned out but appreciate the news getting passed on anyway.
