This is nothing new I may be wrong but Jock Stein started it. Before every major game in Scotland he would start with the "I hope the ref isn't like the previous refs we have had with their dodgy decisions" And he got away with it back then and they are still getting away with it. Sporting integrity oh! what a laugh.

I have said it before that going with what happened to Penn State they are craping themselves because if found guilty it could mean removing titles & cups. And would you believe they stole the big eared cup right in the middle of it.

On Saturday's Football Focus they mentioned the average age of the Ajax team that played last week in the Champions League was 22. They also stated that since 1982 there has always been at least one academy player playing for the first team. I googled Ajax Academy and it is scary who has come through their academy & God knows what their sell on value is/was worth. I said it years ago Ajax's academy should be the blueprint for any team not just us. If they can do it why not us, I know the Dutch population is larger than ours but surely we could be producing a lot more than we do now.

IMHO the greatest Scottish player ever.

That's what real exuberance looks like.

A one year football banning order, you couldn't make it up. Have any hivs fans been jailed? I know of one 'Gers fan who was. There is definitely one law for them and another for us.

I was in Canada when he signed & there was a rumour that we were signing McGrath and I was discussing it with my bro-in-law and mentioned him being a tim. On the Friday we were downtown for a couple of beers and on coming home the sis-in-law said my bro had phoned to say mojo had signed for us. She asked him if he was a tim and on hearing he was she told him that we knew about as we were discussing it on Tuesday night. It was only when I came home & I told him it was McGrath we had spoken about he realised we didn't know before anyone else. Mind you he had been telling Tom, William & Billy that I knew on the Tuesday.

Do you think with all the stuff out there i.e. Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, all the internet forums etc. that a signing like Mo Johnston's nowadays could be kept secret right up until they walked through the door into the press room?

Is that the one with all the results and attendances for decades?
I had one but lost it years ago in a move
Yeah, every game, team, scorers and crowd size since 2nd world war with brief write up on the major games. The beginning is a potted history of the pre war games.

I believe there were major complaints about having to pay a pound as it was thought by some people that it was too much.

Two stories of Davie. The day he passed away I was driving back from Cumbernauld when it came on Radio Clyde. I came off the M8 and headed straight into Govan to a flower shop & bought a bunch of flowers. I then drove to Ibrox and laid them at the gates at what was then known as the Rangers End. That night while watching STV news there's me with the flowers and the comment "even business men have been affected by his death".
The second story was when he was playing for Motherwell at Ibrox. I had a seat in the Govan front right at the corner flag. Davie came over to take a corner and everyone around applauded him and he said "thanks guys" Places the ball crosses like only he could and up goes a Motherwell player to bullet it into the net. The bold Davie turns rounds and said "Whoops sorry" & then ran off to join the celebrations.

I am in Tenerife and couldn't find the Bluebell Bar so ended up watching it on my phone on a dodgy site. The mrs said when we scored she could hear me shouting and considering the room is 6 floors up on the opposite side of the building it just shows you that even when you are not there you can still make yourself heard. I must be honest the next day I was pissing myself laughing thinking it is bad enough shouting & screaming at the telly far less a phone.

From what I read Pedro was disappointed that the team came out to STB but when he did it wasn't played

At any throw in within 30/35 yards of our opponents goal we should have a player right in front of their goalie, or on the goal line & as you cant be offside from a throw in it means the opposition need to bring a man back to mark him. I think that this would then create more space as we can push further forward without being offside.
Rest in Peace, Sir Ugo.
