I'm not saying he's great but he led the line well, put himself about ect. He missed one sitter, i would call the second more of a half chance. He clearly needs a run of games up top, it will do him the world of good.
I'd rather have Rowett than McLeish, Eck has done nothing but fail at every club since he left Birmingham. If we are going to gamble it should be on a bright young gaffer as opposed to an older failure that hasn't impressed in recent years. He may know the club and the league but he'd be the biggest gamble of them all imo.
