One of the courses at murrayshall is longer. I’ve played it few times and in recent years they have always hosted the Scottish Schools Finals too. Ask to speak directly with ban events manager etc. When you sell it to them of an event, rooms, food, drink, golf you can get some decent deals if you barter 👍

What time of year? Depends on budget mate but Dalmahoy is good option, 2 courses, range, hotel too. Murrayshall is a nice and again 2 courses. You could always go back to Drumoig and use that as a base with you playing courses round about, some great courses that aren’t far apart.
