McKay is better as mentioned. I've not been hugely impressed by Oduwa, he's ok, but there isn't much product there. No chance he'll get a new contract at Spurs if it ends this season.
The timing of this comment was a tad unfortunate.

I guess whoever pays your wages should be first priority.A big thing to him, fuckall to us really as Rangers comes first.
He is a good Rangers man and is surrounded by Rangers people so what I took from the situation was that it was a big thing for his country whereas he felt he could come back and do his shit with Rangers after it and there would be other Champion's League games.
I think it was more his pride in his country than shitting on Rangers but it's still a choice he made.
But if I played for an Austrailan team and the UK needed me for the Olympics... I'd be gone
-
We certainly didn't blow Hibs out of the water in our second match against them. I've not seen enough about him to say I'd take him again if he were out of contract. Still got a lot to prove, but good words to hear from him.
What does the Hibs game have to do with it?
-
Solid as fuck.
He put the olympics before us though and never really recovered from it.
Nice enough guy too.
Looking back that was probably harsh. The chance, however slim, to get an Olympic medal would be hard to turn down I reckon.
Can't remember the ins and outs of it though, I was only young at the time. Maybe there was more to it.

Started out as a left winger at linfield before man u converted him to a left back
Thought he was a central midfielder.

I thought Warburton gave him a new contract this summer? Or was that before he arrived? If it was MW then he must see something.Sinnamon hasn't made the Falkirk 18 in any of their last 4 matches.
Either injured or they don't think he's upto scratch

At the moment we're scoring for fun against second tier teams, at the same time we are less than solid at the back. If we were to give the SPL sides the opportunities we have the teams in the division we are in we will lose goals.
The St Johnstone game will give a small indication of how far we have really come though not as much as some on here would like as they aren't a great side at the best of times. At the moment we are scoring goals from around the team, but I believe that we will really need a target man to have any real chance in of winning the Scottish or League cups as we seem to be squandering an awful lot of chances in front of goal, a luxury we may not have against the better SPL sides.
Not sure if a target man is MW's type of player. Seems like he likes the front 3 to be interchangeable. I'm quite happy for the whole team to be scoring rather than relying on 1 player.

law gets into trouble when he tries more than he is capable of, playing within yourself is what that means. Law has not played a bad game this season and the whole team was at fault last season led by two of the most clueless managers Rangers have ever had. Hell even Davie White was a better manager than the 2 clowns. So as far as I am concerned I am basing players on what they are doing under the magic hat not the arse baring clown. I also see Zelalem as a huge talent but someone who needs to know how to work his craft for the team not as an individual can also say the same thing about Oduwa, skills abound but learn to play the final ball. This is also a common last part of a youth players development. I also see warburton`s philosophy it is about the squad and he wants players to be hungry, the way to do that is to use the squad, keep the players on their toes in that If i want to play next week then I need to have a good game this week.
Idk asking players to play within themselves seems a bit daft to me. If you can't play well when giving your all then what kind of player are you? Not a Rangers player.

Suspension is more likely as he got booked again yesterday.
True. That's why he got taken off I'm sure. We can't afford to lose him right now.

Always an achievement in being the best player in the team. Great players don't always win honours with a mediocre team
Here's a great example, guess the player. I'll post the answer further down.
A forward with exceptional technical skills,[4] he is the second-highest ever scorer for *********** and was voted PFA Young Player of the Year in 1990. He was the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League. He is notable for his record at scoring penalty kicks converting from the spot 47 times from 48 attempts and is considered one of the greatest ever from the 12-yard spot.
That guys total honours were one appearance as a beaten finalist in the Full Members Cup in 1992.
No international caps or other honours. Answer lower down.
I stopped reading when you said "great players". Law is average at best. To me, the fact he scored 13 goals is irrelevant. Hearts top goal scorer scored 12 goals last season.
-
Meh dont know why i bother some folk just see things differently
You think we played well?
It is interesting how differently people see things.
-
Over the season? Yes i do. He performed badly in some matches however was made the scape goat by the majority of the support. The fact people jumped on him when we played badly tells you something when he didnt play well the whole team broke down. Why? Because he was the only one in midfield who could play football
Then that surely says he had a pish season. The team were awful from start to finish.
-
bit of a difference mate,in tight games against SPL teams in cups we need a goal scoring threat from corners, that`s all!
Headed goals come from more than just corners.
And you can be dangerous from corners without playing the ball in the air.
-
Can you honestly say you thought Law had a good season last season? Outwith the fact he scored 13 goals and somehow that means he was our best player. Do you think he played well?I picked law. He gets a ton of shit from our supporters but he was one of our best players last season albeit in the poorest rangers side ive seen. He has been one of our strongest players this year as well.
Too many write him off as being rotten but tell me this why has he rarely missed a game for us and been pretty much a first pick by all 4 managers?
-
Picked Law because at present Zelalem still has things to add to his game. A hugely talented youngster and yes has more talent than Law but he still needs to learn how to infuse that talent into the team play. As long as Law plays within himself then we are going to be okay either way and that is how I believe it will go both players getting plenty of minutes.
Can you rephrase the last sentence? I have no clue what you mean and I'm intrigued now
-
Some of the football there is different class.
...After 4 minutes.
-
Exactly! no way would i feel confident with him lining up against a decent championship team, the only real option we have is Ball who can hopefully slot in at both fully back positions if really needed
I was surprised we let Sinnamon go on loan tbh. But I think with the way we play, we almost need wingers at fullback rather than CB's playing there. Just hoping Tav doesn't get injured
-
POTY: Tav
Top goal scorer: Tav
Top Assists: Tav
Most saves: Tav
-
Surely got to go out on loan? Dont see a place for him in the team at all in the season? Definitely dont think he should be our cover for RB either!
If not him, then who?!
-
Top half finish in the second tier of Scotttish football with a team of highly experienced, well paid, professional football players, including many seasoned internatiionals.
So there's no achievement in being the best player (your opinion not mine) in probably the worst team in our history surely?
-
.........who was better than him for us last season ?
What did we achieve last season?
-
Exactly!
Worrying, when you're sweating on a goal or two to get your lines up.....
That's exactly what it is
It's not his fault. No Rangers player would be putting bets on our games
-
I can't see it, you're fucking at it!
It's only because you haven't seen him without it
-
Don't know if you can see it here, but this ones clearly been photoshopped.Without actually looking for it, you can actually tell there's something about him there.
The ribbon is yellow, not red.
