didn't expect that. just an observation - i'll keep quiet for the next 7 or 8 years then!

I've been a member of this forum for a long time and dont post that much - i'm just making a point. Dissapointed that the tolerance levels are so low.

Wouldn't surprise me if this one surfaces.

BBC Scotland Rob Mclean. First words when we won the title was a negative referencing us winning and expected to do so with our money - on a complete downer. He didn't sound happy at all. Imho
First words, I would have thought, should have been congratulations to the title winners etc. Nah
Cuts away to other audio - then back to title party - and first reference again a negative about the squad money etc...
You really cannae win these days.
Where's the fun, celebration in sport these days

I've only flicked through it but there's a belter of a pic of 'Aquatic Football' looks like the game is being played in a pond.

Just got given a copy of this book from an elderly relative - anybody else read it ? It appears to be very old!

Just on the back of a comment i heard earlier. Has there been any mangers who have been sacked after a defeat by us ?
-
Tragic story of a young goalie injured against Rangers which i'd never heard before and great gesture by the Club.
-
I honestly wouldn't know what to put on the now - no consistency and no form to look at with this team

This.
Can see Little, Jig and hopefully Sandaza banging in 20 each, but then Templeton, Shiels picking up 10 each say.
I thinks temps will bang in a lot more than 10 - he's already 20 percent there after 1 game!

It's time like this I miss Walter, as much as I love Ally he never seems to be able to fire the team up or motivate them. Black seems a lot sharper now and a lot more comfrotable now.
Oxymoron no?

Graham Spiers @GrahamSpiers
My Sunday Herald column tomorrow: Ally McCoist’s outburst and the siege-mentality that is taking over Rangers.

Any Gaelic speakers to interpret? - i reckon we'll be on it a lot this season!

Who have we got just now?

Yip posted a few weeks back asking why no comment from the captain of our club about the goings on.
Greig et al would not have been so quiet ...we now know why.

Thoughts.?
When you think of the massive drop we are about to experience (if SFL3) and then climb back to the top of the SPL - say within 5 years - it must rank up there with some of the best fight backs given the political, sporting etc biases that we are facing.
I'm confident that we will do it and what a sweet achievement it will be - but where would it rank in sport?

that he has agreed to join us in principle depending on which league we are in
brian mclauchlin @BBCBMcLauchlin
Ian Black agrees in principle to join Rangers Newco but deal dependant on which league they play in. More soon #BBCSportsound

We need to split the recent furore from our Club.
Rangers have saved Scottish Football many times over the years and our contribution has been revolutionary.
Our recent history has clouded our glorious past. Time to start building for the future, (again)

If we end up in the 3rd div my feeling is that, as the mighty Glasgow Rangers, we should leave a legacy of thanks for the hospitality for the many far flung, idiosyncratic but genuine hosts we are sure to encounter.
It's going to be a time of major change and i'm sure our club will make friends throughout this time.
Should we, as the fans, put down a marker to how Scottish Football should behave by perhaps;
giving an extra pound at each away game to help the host club over and above the ticket price
provide training facilities for SFL teams (on rotation) at Auchenhowie,
allow away fans in for free at Ibrox for our home games?
just some thoughts...

Strathclyde Home Stadium ? The sons got promoted to division 1 this year mate!

Im more concerned 2 days have past and the SFA and SPL still havent spoken. Anyway what a shit attempt to have a go at Davis.
absolutely no dig at Davis at all. It's an historic day.
As much as it might seem weird, footballers (should) have feelings as well. If i was captain i would tweet, fkbook, fart, broadcast, scream etc etc etc.
My passion as the leader of this great club would make me do this. Rather than just see it as a job.
Modern media has taken the soul out of football and the consequence of doing anything remotely passionate marks you out.
