Remember green came in when no one else would.
Let's not not sell ourselves as the tart that dumps her lad just cos her old pal has bought a sports car.
Yes Walter is the preferable man to be at the helm but let's not forget our dignity in how we voice it.
yes my point as OP, but much much better put!

Ian Hart, one of the Rangers investors named by Charles Green, has strongly denied being part of the consortium

I agree to an extent, but at the same time we need to make it clear that we would rather have Smith et al. I don't think he is likely to accept a £1m pay off now if he thinks he can walk away in a years time pocketing £10-15m
The best way to deal with these types of guys and this is not meant as a slight in the spirit of the post! is to make sure his ego leaves intact. There is a bit of PR needed to be done with Mr Green. Make sure he feels he can step back through the front door anytime with the club and the new owners best, knowing that he has played an important ( if uncomfortable role) in our club's history.

If we want Smith's consortium to have the chance to purchase the club i think that we need to show a conciliatory attitude towards Green and cut any crap towards him. Thank him for his work to date, provide him with a small profit and ask him to move aside, with our best wishes.
The more anger and angst we show towards him, from whatever misplaced sense of injustice and with the type of character he strikes me as being, will surely make him dig his heels in even more. This could be an unnecessary adversarial time and be an even longer game of poker than it needs to be before the best placed people, to move our club forward, take their rightful place.

doubt it. Green has already said the new co was put in place a while back ( just in case) and would transfer almost immediately should the cva fail. this type of paperwork would have been done well in advance
probably some chancer

My linkKenny Shiels calling Ally a potential saviour and a legend.

we'll win it by 2 points this year.
multiple chins up. C'mon Ally.

Right, catchphrase time - who are the two bosses? whose stock phrases are;
"a level of..." ( consistency / performance etc)
"there's no doubt about..." (it /that etc)

Magnum - as in Tom sellick
Magnum
Magnum (from Latin: magnum, neuter (nominative singular) of magnus neutral form, meaning great)

Dont look behind you!!
The Rangers are playing fine and on the charge!
just a bit nervous about us. not worried at all about them.
-
on the positive side
playing pretty poorly but getting results and only two points behind.
on the flip side
We really don't look convincing at all and I fear for us if we drop any further than 2 or three points behind.
The other lot are obviously going through their best spell this season just now but not convinced by any of their hyperbole.
They do actually believe they've won the league already so hopefully this will come back to haunt them.

OK officially we are now in our bad period (ok a good few games into it) but it's not over yet by a long shot . Chin up and let's move on.

change to team

game off. Seems to be damage to stadium

I read his twitter posts today, he was certainly a bit rabid.
Would love these rumours to be true, we will have to wait and see but there certainly seems to be more positive vibes about it all.
Even Whyte was talking about a more positive outlook prior to the AGM. Wonder if he knows something we don't (probably knows alot we don't know)

He looks rough as fuck now. Jeez
He looks like Harry Redknapp in that pic

They weren't even remotely to blame for Falkirk's 3rd.
let's not count chickens. They are a pair of crackers but we've seen enough highs and lows in the last 7 days to know better.
-
They're impregnable at the back.
Will be a quality pairing for europe next season
we / they lost 3 against Falkirk
-
Commons claiming on his twitter that he was fit to play - despite his manager claiming otherwise.
-
seen him today. The big fella scored a freekick in the last 4-2 win over that mob at ibrox.
-
two things:
of course we would have the money for it - why wouldn't we?
more concerning is Andrew Dickson's comment
"I can't comment on that sort of thing I'm afraid. If it makes you feel any better, staff will also be wanting clarity & reassurance"
are staff now concerned? if rangers were doing their internal comms properly surely the staff's minds would have been put at ease months ago with the assurance of a new owner

just again suggested that leicester are coming back in and i quote "can't believe rangers knocked back £6.5 for jelavic"

Historic day.
No matter the circumstance surely the captain of our Great Club would have had some words for the fans?
not a dig in any way just thought it might have been appropriate.
