  1. Every fucking time. You know they will go for a quick 2nd. Absolute shambles. Usual suspects again.
  2. We sit off them far too much, give them way too much space. We need to press the life out of them like we used to. They can't handle that.
  3. I said earlier it's a lottery which version of Lawrence turns up. So far it's not the one we need, and it could cost us.
  4. Radio Scotland isn't much better. Billy Dodds is good, but the other two are fucking murder.
  5. I'm putting some of the decisions down to the limitations in the squad, him seeing which players he can rely upon, and the perma injured unreliables. There's always pressure on an old firm manager, a cup and a Europa League final couldn't save Gio but there are definite signs of improvement and optimism to be had once he is able to shape the team how he wants.
  6. I said relative, but i would say dragging us from a 7 point deficite to leading the table, winning a cup and getting us to another cup final and qualifying from the Europa League group quantifies as a relative miracle considering the shambles Beale left.
  7. What's with the ridiculous patter about Clement potentially not being here next season? The guy has worked relative miracles with the squad he has inherited, brought us back into a title race from nowhere, won a cup and has us in the final of another. He'll be here. I would imagine a good number of the squad won't be.
  8. To me it's definitely a "fuck it, we play our way" kind of lineup. Definitely an attacking team (within our limitations of course).
  9. Strongest part of their team, and more often than not where the games are won and lost. I'd feel a lot more confident with Sterling in there tbh.
  10. Would rather him sitting in midfield, but he's still a good option on the right and gives Tav some cover that Wright or McCausland don't necessarily give him.
  11. I think bold is possibly the best word i can find for that lineup. On one hand I like that he's gone "we'll do us", but it potentially leaves us exposed. Ridvan apart, i'm not sure how else we could have set up.
  12. You know what mate, you're right. We've been shying away from them for far too long. Clement will have us set up well today.
  13. It's a gamble starting Lawrence, as you never quite know which version of him turns up. If he plays well, gets stuck in and fires a few shots from range, we'll do ok. If the other version of him turns up, it'll slow the game right down for us and he'll offer very little. If he starts, I hope it's the former we see.
  14. You would think the length of time he's been here and played them he would know they always try and start quickly. If that Maeda is playing, they'll stick him on Tav early doors and pressure him. Simple stuff but he has to wisen up sometimes that way.
