Definitely, the pass should have been played to Morelos in front of him on the right.

His decision making does need some working on but like I say he's definitely got potential to improve even more.

The one thing I'd say is that he seems to have consistently improved under Murty, and seems to enjoy playing under him. I think keep him central, and attacking, and if he can continue to steadily improve he could be a key player.

    I still think he's shite.

He can run and his awareness has improved.

However he is a shite bag when tackling or jumping for a header. He also is too greedy and won't pass when the right moment comes along. He can't play a killer pass.

I wouldn't say he's shite. He's by no means the best number 10 style player we've ever had but he does have some good attributes.

And his tackling is poor, apart from this one of course.....

  3. Just jumped into my mind from watching him last night. He's been decent lately, scoring some goals and puts in a decent shift, but by fuck he needs to learn how to play the ball ahead of a team mate. 3 or 4 times on the break last night he slowed the attack down by passing behind. If he can get that sorted out it would boost his effectiveness in the midfield massively I think.

Should be a 16 team premier league playing each team home and away once...with 3 going down and 3 coming up

A 16 team championship that should have playoffs for the 3 rd spot....

    A 3rd div should have 10 teams ....with 2 getting promoted ....

    sorted!.... :thuglife:

30 game season would be shite though

Allows a 12 team league (which is about right imo) without too many games. Same number of games (4) against the bigger teams and fewer against the wee ones (3) so fewer shit games for us. End of season dogfight games between bottom teams, top teams and teams fighting for Europe. Something extra to play for for mid table teams, namely being in the top 6 at the split. The end season playoff for relegation has been very exciting too.

    Fair enough

It's a bit shit for mid table teams because after the split you can't climb any higher in the league. So effectively team X could be in 7th before the split, but actually finish the league with enough points to be in third place. Albeit the last 5 games would be against easier opposition than if they were in the top 6 before the split.

  6. I've said since he joined us that there' a decent player in him. He demonstrates the tenacity and hunger we've been lacking. Chases down everything, more than one occasion he's won us a throw in out of nothing deep in the oppositions half. Hes a real threat going forward with good vision and reading of the game, and offers good cover and tracking back and his delivery into the box is improving all the time.

I think him and Tav compliment each other and work well together down the right.

And he loves pulling on the jersey.

  7. I've been impressed with him. He clearly brings out a lot more in the players than Warburton or Pedro ever could.

But lets finish the season and see where we are before getting ahead of ourselves. Twice bitten, thrice shy and all that.

But I'm glad it's him in our dugout and not that clown who had his head in his hands tonight

How we are evenv remotely in contention is one of those mysteries. We have been terrible, in turmoil..... and probably had our worst ever manager in charge for the majority of games so far.

Imagine beating them this season. I actually think that would be sweeter than helecopter sunday squared. I still can't see it, but we ain't out of it.

    Behave

sorry cant make out the printing from your pic. If thats what it says then you would be right. Those scarves were popular in the 70s.Cannot remember seeing anything like them for sale in the 80s. Also better quality than the crap that has been on offer since the 80s.

Would be quality if these made a return, would sell in no time. And what's with the way the young folk wear their scarves these days, with the tiny wee knot? Don't get that.
