the most pointless game ever I have no motivation for this game at all tbh. Mostly due to today's result and tbh am really fuckin board of playing these diddy clubs.
Gives us a chance to address some issues if nothing else. Not sure why everyone is assuming MW will be making so many changes to be fair, the team we feilded yesterday was the right one (albeit a bitty slow in midfeild) but we need to tweak the style of play

In Warbs we do trust however he definitely got a few things wrong yesterday and it was a hugely disappointing day.
Neither Miller or Niko should have started and whats disappointing is most bears I spoke to pre game could see this, the midfield lacked the energy of a Harry F or a Holty and in general sat too deep in the 1st half, this should have been addressed.
That's exactly what my pal and i were saying, midfield was slow and sitting too deep. Lacked urgency. As soon as Forrester came on he made and impact

Start of last season high tempo, pressing game. Blew teams out the water to begun with. As the season progressed we seemed to slow down our play alot.
We signed some old players over the summer. Spine of our team yesterday was hill Barton Kranjaer and miller. You can't press the ball with that spine.
Is warbs changing the style or was yesterday just a bad day and his team selection was terrible?
Another thought is at the start of last season the players seemed to have real belief. After we started to lose games, our performances got worse. Now we have lost some big games they might have a fear to attack as much
Kranjcar was ineffective and slow yesterday, (not slagging, just an observation) as was our style of play. Our style of play was effective against Annan, East Stirling and Stranraer, but Martin Canning had it sussed from the off. Waghorn and McKay were contained, which resulted in the entire team becoming complacent

Well I did think that at first, but with the injuries and suspensions accies have might not be a bad game for Dodoo to start and get the true thrill of the Ibrox crowd. Might be good to have Miller in reserve as an impact sub if things don't go to plan?

The eve of a new season easilly the most exciting and eagerly anticipated this country has seen for years and they pick now to publish this.
Another date could not have been agreed?
That's exactly what I was about to say. Un-fucking-believable, but no doubt well planned out. Let's drown out their pish with that Ibrox roar tomorrow.

Yes i believe we can win the league, the other teams have failed to capatalise on our absence from top flight football, septic have been dreadful in europe and there was total panic last season from them that the sheep would pip the title.i dont think they have really added any quality to their squad compared to last season so i think 55 is in the bag
Totally agree that other clubs haven't capitalised on our absence. Septic have spent 4 years doing just enough and the sheep shit the bed twice

i think the squad has huge potential. The strength and depth we have is better than we've had in a long time, and some of the signings Warbs has pulled off has been brilliant. I'm confident that we're going to be real contenders this year, I think we'll catch the tims sleeping.
I do believe our success will hinge on strengthening the defence though. Far too vulnerable at the back especially with set peices, and my nerves go to shit if we get caught on the break.
I've got tremendous faith in MW and his magic hat too

Hamilton at home is exactly the type of game he should start. When we'll dominate possession and need a bit of class to break them down.
I'd like to see...
Fod
Tav Kiernan Wilson Wallace
Rossiter
Barton Krancjar
O'Halloran Waghorn McKay
Exactly the line up I'd like to see

Is it bad idea to wear rangers jersey in non rangers section
In all honesty I'm a Gers fan who lives in Aberdeen and I wouldn't go into the home end. If you are going to be in Aberdeen at the time of the game I'd stick to watching it in a bar. First meeting in nearly 4 years so the atmosphere will be rowdy, but plenty neutral bars to watch it in.

Fair play to you putting your head above water regarding the original thread and I agree with your post. Some good points there.
I've only seen two of the letters - one of them is to a guy who's pled not guilty but his trial isn't until Jan - he's lost his season ticket.
The other person I'm reluctant to comment on as court case ongoing and you never know who's reading.
If that's they case then pretty disgraceful from the board. Why on earth would they impose a ban on someone who's not even been to court for it yet? For all they know he might only be found guilty of picking daisies off the park. Shocking.

That's the ban letters out now from Rangers. Who were the ones on here that had a go at me again when I went right through that Stewart Robertson for saying any offenders will be banned and you's all said stuff like come back to me when fans actually get banned and that he's only saying it for show to keep people happy. Be honest and own up.
Also flies in the face of their fantastic statement Rangers made on the Monday/Tue after the cup final.
This is back to the old Rangers we know.
Poor poor show - from a position of strength too.
I really feel like the new board has genuinely had the interest of the fans at heart - something we've been needing for so long - but totally agree with you on this point.
They've stood firm on a few issues in recent months, and following their brilliant club statement after the final I thought they'd have the fans backs. Obviously not.
Disappointing, but my fingers are crossed that these 'bans' are just for show and the fans in question can carry on attending and supporting the very club they were standing up for in the first place.
is the change of style deliberate?

Aye I would agree. He was the fastest man on the park yesterday but it just seemed that when he was making those runs down the left and came to the corner flag he forgot what he was doing.
I like Wallace's attacking style, but it seemed to me whenever he pushed up yesterday and McKay had to drop back we were losing something in his absence. Thoughts on that? I've yet to watch the highlights so might be way off.
