I'm not advocating mash, as I'm happy with t3b remainng after ridding us of king and several other incompetent non value adders. That would free up a few quid in itself. That would send out the right messages to both fans and potentialinvestors alike and get on with creating wealth to fund a better team on the parks. I wouldn't boke at a fair few million of mash either, as long as the board were happy it was equitable.

I want them ( MASH) no where near us, but would be interesting to see if Mcoll would be interested if King wasn't there.

I'm told he's swithering. He's just had a kid a few months ago but also had a very good working relationship with MW (which is why he's apparently more interested in this than Southampton.

ahh fuck i doubted this on twitter today in the Battle fever tweet of this, FFS nothing is going right at the moment.

If life were that simple. It's one thing supporting a team, it's another were the board are pissing down your back and telling you it's raining. There is also a question of ethics, integrity, values, traditions. None of which this board buys into. So what club are we now I ask? Being led by a criminal does not quite send the right message to me.  Call me old fashioned.

Lastly a team are one thing that are replaced and move on. The culture and heritage of the club are the mainstay and it is that you buy into or not. For example, if I was looking for a club to support and I found one who were highly successful and played attractive football, but they were owned by a drug cartel, well I doubt I would be supporting them as also I would be conditioning my kids into thinking that drug cartels are ok guys.

Agree that i don't like King, but to be honest the alternative in Ashly scares me more, sometimes better the devil you know. So far i don't see anyone else stepping up to buy him out?

We need the honesty and transparency he promised but for me this Summer is key, so we need to back the club as i can't be fucked getting a hiding like this next season, couldn't handle not seeing player changes as there is only 20k season tickets sold.

Aye. Taig!? I'm about ready to combust! I went through all the pish in the early 80s. Home and away. The pride I had in the team always shone through even in the darkest days. I mind John mclleland as a makeshift centre forward terrorising inter Milan- bet few of those calling me a taig mind that. Or Shuggie burns scoring against Aberdeen , or Bobby Williamson scoring getting us through in the skol cup against accies at fir park. Fucking taig! As usual, easier to have a go at a fellow bear rather than focus on the enemy- the sfa. Morons.

FFs how old are you? Well done finding the internet anyway...my old man struggles with Google; you should be applauded.

    5-years was Mulholland's own words/timeframe.

Reason I mentioned 3-years is more that we should see something by then IMO.

I take your point about 14/15's but if there's no-one from that group that's a decent first team player or two then they've wasted it and it needs an overhaul AGAIN.

All I'm saying (and have always said) is that it's OK saying 5-year plan but you need to see something in the build up too. Beerman could be it. Gilmour maybe should have been it ... we will just need to wait and see, but I don't think the youths and our youth set-up is as good as some want you to believe.

I agree, in some respects, as Gilmore cannot be the only player from that age group to come through, if he is then it isn't working.

Players currently ready for me Burt deserves a chance, although one year in a player's development in strength and pace can be night and day as a teenager.  I also think Thomson and Hardie would have played at some  point under Pedro if they hadn't gone on loan...

What is clear is if we don't produce players and we can't afford to buy them, then second place will be the norm which isn't good enough. So for me we can only judge the 5 yr plan at 5 years and we should be looking to scoop up other teams Gilmore's in Scotland, where was Armstrong at 16 - no where near the Dundee utd 1st team but he must have had potential even then.

  6. Excepting yesterday when he really was worse than a man down and  BURT  or Beerman when Wallace is back should get a chance if that's how he will behave from now until the end of the season..

I think Barry's statistics would be better if we had strikers who could take chances, he has tee's players up on a plate even when he isn't  playing well....yesterday he played one  sublime pass to miller who should have controlled it better for a one on one....and yesterdays performance should see him dropped for a number of games IMO.

  7. Don't know about you guys but i will be renewing my season ticket regardless of the money King puts in, we need to stand on our own two feet and actually survive as a going concern. It seems to be unpopular thought process.

In saying that King won't get away with rhetoric this year, giving Ped a budget of £5M won't overtake Celtic, they could go and spend around £15M this summer especially if they sell the overrated Dembele. We may move away from Aberdeen and the rest but can't see us competing unless a proper budget is put in place.....what happened to the share holder share issue ?

Just looks fucking miserable, when we score a goal he doesnt seem to mix with the other players. IMO he and Tav dont get on at all.

Off course he is miserable, his old man still works for a bunch of degenerate hamster fuckers, ffs give the boy a break, it will take him time to get over the whole familial beastiality without you rubbing it in on his favourite fans forum. As Murty would say.. Sheesh...

Why do you disagree? We were getting trounced and scored a couple of quickfire goals on the break.

Previous game at Pittodorie we dominated them, we created chances dominated the ball and got beat....today we defended and hit on the break with worse players than Warbs had on the field....

For me it was about tactics - hit on the break, defend crosses work hard....I'm unsure what the issue is?

  10. Mackay isn't shit but is definitely played out of position and was a different player after he got dropped earlier in the season. Feel the same way about Halliday he is never a holding mid but is always the utility player....mind you I could feel that way cause he is one of us and hate the abuse he gets.

We want Gers youth players to come through but we seem to give them the most stick when they play badly.

  11. Sounds weird, but if they had turned in a few good performances at the tail end of the season he may have felt that he had a good team....and subsequently not gone to town in the summer, now at least he knows he has a bag of shit, and nobody deliberately plays with bags of shit...well unless you're part of the triumvirate of doom now residing in Nottingham...

  12. If true...Proves we don't have the right players in, Warburton's big thing was about squad harmony, no bad eggs, working as a team together. If this isn't Bollocks then looks like he only got harmony because he didn't push them enough to lift them above mediocrity. Didn't lift them to have the Rangers mentality.

I definitely don't think it of Wallace or Hill but wonder if Forrester and Keirnan maybe ,Seneros  have been dropped....again probably bollocks.
