OLD Firm legends Ally McCoist and Mark McGhee are launching a new show devoted to Scottish football – and it kicks off on talkSPORT in Scotland tonight.
The Scottish Football Show, launched by Wireless Group and News Scotland, will be a weekly three-hour show with in-depth discussion about what is happening in league football up and down the country, as well as the Scotland national sides.
McCoist will be lead presenter on the new show
With lead presenter McCoist alongside co-host McGhee, listeners can expect trademark talkSPORT insight and wit from two men who have played and managed at the top level of Scottish football.
They will be joined each week by big name guests as they debate and analyse the hottest stories from the Scottish Premiership and beyond.
The show will air from 7pm-10pm on talkSPORT in Scotland and a two-hour edited version will also be repeated UK-wide on talkSPORT 2 on Friday evenings at 10pm.
A podcast of the show will be made available to download following Friday’s broadcast.
McGhee will co-host The Scottish Football Show
Richard Bogie, general manager of News Scotland, said: “The launch of the Scottish Football Show is an exciting addition to talkSPORT’s already extensive football offering.
“The show will bring together the biggest names in Scottish football to give their expert insight on the game’s latest news and moves.

The sad thing is we have lots of posters waiting on him making a mistake so they can come back in with their side of the arguement. Bet they were beeling he had another good game. Everyone makes mistakes.
Just because he is Scottish and ginger, doesn't mean you can't back him. I would play him over Alves any day of the week.
The lad is only 21 and a future star going by the experience he has already.

We are miles behind them no matter what people say. They have better players and have lost 1 game in 2 seasons. We need to get consistency and create a high win rate at Ibrox. Yes they have drawn more games this season but we are still a distance behind. One or two good results for us doesn't change things.
We have to finish strong this season and perhaps beat them and go far in the SC. Have a good summer with signings and kick on from there.

I didn't rate him at the start. He ran but had no quality.
However, he has improved so much and had worked a great relationship with Tav and Holt. Really pleased with his performances.

I would be sad to lose him. Only 26 and has so much experience playing for us in various squads. Should be a starter alongside Martin or Bates.

He stands out because he is Scottish and ginger. Easy pickings for those who love to slate our young players. Just like the school bullys. Even if the ginger guy was sound as fuck he got picked on for anything he did.
It's the mentality of some of our fans to call out mistakes on those learning the trade. They will happily give e.g. Garner and others chances in seasons gone by because they are too busy downloading songs in the charts that sound catchy.
