Canadaready 9,437
BY MUFF: Rangers became the first Scottish side to launch their own iPhone app, and they have pretty much got it spot on. The information, and news is bang up to date, and the lay out is simple, and very effective - very easy to navigate yourself about the app. The latest news section is kept up to date, and the reports/stories are what you would see on the official website. The league table is easy to view, and what you would expect to see on any website, as are the fixture list, and results. The match reports are a good read, and contain all the important information, and stats; score, goalscorers, attendance, referee, along with incidents etc.... It contains a squad/player profile, which gives you the option to scroll on a player, and find out information about them. It also comes with a history section, which I think is excellent, and very informative. There are a few areas that could do with being brushed up on; the history of the managers stops at Paul Le Guen, and does not include Walter Smith's second spell incharge - when you look at Walter Smith's profile, it doesn't include his second spell. In the squad/player profiles, it has Madjid Bougherra down as a midfielder. It would also be good if you could tilt it horizontally to view the information, and adding live match updates, along with interviews, highlights....would make it even better. Apart from that, it's a well designed app, which is pretty much kept up to date, and gives you all the information you require! **************** BY BAZZA: Quality App! All the Gers info you could ask for at the touch of a button and it comes straight from the club. I use it regularly for fixture updates and news features which are uploaded pretty much as and when they happen. One or two additions for future would be push notifications on match days and maybe video highlights after the game. All in all though if your looking to stay in touch with the club you love at the touch of a button, you won't find better on your phone. WATP

Canadaready 9,437
Any chance the app could be put on Android? Good question. Someone else would have to answer it though. I am unsure.
