Sky sports report that they understand both Ally McCoist and Walter Smith will be in charge of Rangers before long. Ally will be Head Coach and Walter will be Director of football. Walter however will continue in his role as Scotland Manager.

McCoists number 2 has not been decided yet, But names such as Hateley and McCall are being mentioned for this role.

Ian Durrant and Billy Kirkwood should take control of Sundays game with Dunfermline

A feckin joke if you ask me.McCoist has been said for years to be the last person anyone whos played with likely to be a manager. You dont start off at Gers.SDM Cheapo

Souness's first mangerial post was at Rangers. It was also his most successful time as a manager. He did have Walter Smith to assist him though. :P

They can dress it up anyway they like. Walter will call the shots after Coisty has asked for his opinion. Remember Ally has not managed before and will need a lot of guidance from his friend and mentor.
