Hibs boss critical of ref Brines

Recommended Posts

nothing new there

Mixu Paatelainen described Iain Brines' decision-making, particulary prior to the goal which ousted Hibernian from the Co-op Insurance Cup as a "joke."

The referee sent off the Hibs boss for his reaction to Ryan Harding's winning goal for Morton in the 4-3 defeat.

"If there's wrong decisions made like that it takes our livelihood away, which is an absolute catastrophe for us," Paatelainen told BBC Sport.

"Now we are out of the cup - it's a joke."

Ian Brines is making more and more enemies in the game with his catastrophically awful ignorance of his own job or the rules of the game.

First he f*cks up banning Yogi from the dressing room when the manager was entitled to be there, then this.

Brines should be struck off, sooner the better.

One of these days he will officiate a Rangers game and cost us horribly.
