Hi just spotted this in my my local football teams league. http://www.barisncel.co.uk/league/rules/nls/changes/ it refers to letting teams join from the channel islands and also the isle of man, Now i was led to believe that the channel islands were not part of the uk so used my good friend google and confirmed that they are not http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Islands these new rules are direct from the English FA for next season and the rule 2.2 is to accommodate clubs from the channel islands and the isle of man ''2.2 All Clubs shall have Grounds and headquarters situated in England, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man if applicable, or Wales and the Competition Secretary shall send their names and particulars to The FA annually by the date appointed by, and in the format required by, The FA. Clubs playing in England shall be duly affiliated at all times to a recognized County Football Association. Welsh Clubs shall be affiliated to The FA of Wales. Each Club shall notify the Competition Secretary of its affiliation number each year as soon as practicable after it has received same. Each Club shall return to the Competition Secretary a fully completed questionnaire relating to Form “D” required by The FA by the date given in the circular letter accompanying the questionnaire issued by the Competition Secretary.'' Any views Im all for staying in Scotland now but when i saw this thought it was a bit a strange one
