Rangers get a set fee of £3mill per year from JJB. We then get a % of profits over a set amount. An amount that has never been made known. We didn't break that amount in the UEFA cup final year so it's pretty certain we never will. Well done to those who negotiated the deal. Actually the best thing we could do is not buy anything next season, because the JJB cash is guaranteed whether 1 or 50,000 strips get sold.

My thoughts are: The players have obviously been told to 'push their luck' and see how far the administrators are prepared to negotiate. They were told Monday was the deadline. It's now Wednesday, so there is obviously leeway for negotiation. We now have to ask: Is £1 million a month the real number that needs to be cut? We are losing £32.5k very day these negotiations go on, IF £1m is actually what we need to cut. Do the players sense a weakness with the administrators?

I speak for the entire Dublin Loyal when i say young Aaron is welcome at RFC and wish him all the very best in his career with us. We have members in the DL from Limavady, and they will be very proud to see a lad from their town sign with The Champions. Alan Smith, the goalkeeper from Cork has being doing well with us and hopefully Aaron will join him. Young players from the ROI or from a Catholic/Nationalist background should never be excluded from Rangers FC. Anyone who wishes to add to the unrivaled footballing history we have is welcome!
