  1. Christ, remember him?! Had to google him to remember his face! Not a bad shout. I think out of my names, Garitano, Jemez, Goncharenko, Weinzierl and Tuchel would be my top 5. Still intrigued by Cathro and wouldn't be disappointed with Warburton/Weir.
  2. got more managerial experience than our current "manager"
  3. Goncharenko - Went to Russia like most people in that region do but it seemed there was too much politics at Kuban and he was sacked after 12 games or something. Still only 37 so will get a club soon no doubt! Riddersholm - 42, worked with Danish youth prior to this job. Got Midtjylland competing with a basically one club league and in the CL and this season is running away with the league. Wanchope - 38, Recently appointed head coach after winning the Copa CentroAmerica as Interim manager so maybe an unrealistic target. Was assistant with Costa Rica for 4 years. Tapia - 37, Won the Clausara for the first time in 5 years with a record number of goals. He's a local hero though so again maybe slightly unrealistic. Garitano - 39, took Eibar from the 3rd tier of Spanish football to La Liga and is looking likely to keep them up this season against all the odds as Eibar is the smallest city in La Liga history. Hailed for his attitude towards how he plays against Real/Barca. Potentially a very exciting manager. Vitoria - 44, won the League cup with both Pacos Ferreira and Guimaraes, been at the club for 4 years now. Santos - 35, highly rated in Brazil (Tim Vickery recommends), he done well at Curitiba then was sacked unfairly went to Bahia and struggled before being begged back to Curitiba. Another one I seen mentioned by somebody else was Thomas Tuchel which would be a very good shout. I just think these types of managers are ones we should be looking at. Thinking outside the box. For those saying they are horrible choices, Mark Warburton and Cathro aren't exactly miles better than them.
  4. Out of interest why? and who would you prefer?
  5. Zola and Gallagher up front?
  6. I have done my own shortlist of 10 potential managers we could look at. Let me know your thoughts. (In list of preference) Viktor Goncharenko - Unemployed (former BATE Borisov) Markus Weinzierl - Augsburg Sami Hyypia - Unemployed Paco Jamez - Rayo Vallecano Glen Riddersholm - FC Midtjylland Gaizka Garitano - Eibar Rui Vitoria - Guimaraes Marquinhos Santos - Coritiba Paulo Wanchope - Costa Rica Hector Tapia - Colo Colo
  7. Great shout that He's done everything he possibly could do now at Oz. Would surely be interested in coming to Europe soon.
  8. Viktor Goncharenko, highly rated, only 37, done exceptionally well with BATE then went to Russia and it didn't work out. Without a club. Another suggestion. Thoughts?
  9. I'm fed up already of people just shouting about Davies, McCall, Cathro, Magath, McInnes for the next manager. Is there nobody else out there? I am suggesting Mark Warburton with Davie Weir as his assistant. Done a fantastic job at Brentford and is leaving at the end of the season. No reason as to why we couldn't attract him here. I want names that the media/bookies haven't mentioned. Go...
  10. Can't see anything happening tbh. But if it did i would like to see a defender coming in. Sir Davie is beginning to struggle and the situation with webster is baffling and with us still being in 4 comps, depth in that area is needed. But in all seriousness who is in our financial grasp who is capable of playing in Europe if need be. Not many. Thoughts? What would you like to happen? and be realistic :L
  11. Doesn't mean he will sign for Rangers. He might retire then live his life here.
  12. Fuck. If they offer big money he's gone. I fear now.
  13. Sorry if repost but ive missed this since 6 o'clock but i heard.... Miller to the middle east? Any truth?
