I’m not having a go at him I just don’t think Sands should have be signed in the first place. Think it was purely a Wilson signing and the only reason we’ve seen him play at all is because Souttar, Helander and Davies were injured.

Obviously the manner in which we play and win is important but winning at the end of the day is the most important thing no matter what. Fatih Terim has won the Turkish league with Galatasaray 8 times and won about 10 cups. Lucescu has a similar record in Ukraine with Shakhtar. John Hughes is probably someone our board would consider in all honesty.

Bob Bradley and Bruce Arena were based on their tactics and experience but not my first picks. Fatih Terim and Mircea Lucescu were because of their experience and how many titles they've won between them at big clubs too. Lucescu is a risk due to his age so my top pick would be Fatih Terim, think he could do a job for 3 years at least.

Sands isn’t a footballer never mind a natural centre back. For such a great player himself you’d think GvB would know who was good or shit.

The Ajax and especially Napoli game will genuinely be about 7-0 not that the board will care because they’ve already got the qualification money in the bank. The thought of him getting the full season is completely grim.
