Not sure if this will apply, but it probably runs at start up. It's worth going to Start --> Run --> type "msconfig" without the "". Go to the "startup" tab, then disable all. Anything Windows needs will be reinstated on your next boot, anything you miss (you won't miss much) you can go back into msconfig and reinstate (utorrent, anything like that).
