To be fair there is no real competetion for Buffon out there, sure some goalkeepers can pull off a fantastic save here and there but the difference between them and Buffon is that he has been doing it consistantly since his debuet for Parma at the age of 17, a debuet against Milan where he kept a clean sheet. Not bad for a 17 year old
