Youre dreaming mate - the basic in the EPL is around 25 Grand, and we couldnt even match that Deloite and Touche published areport last year that might surprise a few. The average wage in the EPL for 2005/2006 season i.e last season was ?13000 a week We all get carried away with the telephone numbers that the big stars areon at the big 6 clubs but tha average is ?13k per week Aye, but now you can add mercenaries like Ballack to that! Correct Danny but for every Ballack there are 5 at Sheffield and Reading that are on less than ?10k per week Thats how you get an "average" The top 6 clubs are out on there own the others we can compete with No we can't. Villa aren't even in the top half and just bought Ashley Young for ?10M. Yeah I ment we can compete on the wage front. The money they splash on transfers is beyond crazy, and now with more Billionaires getting involved it can only get worse. But one day the bubble will burst-just hope I'm around to see it not as long as sky lines the pockets of every club in the EPL every season. Every team gets 30 million b4 the season starts.....this was outlined in the new sky TV deal. Thats y weve seen alot of teams spending big in an attempt to stay in the league and land the cash winfall
Just give it up will ya, there is no way We could afford the transfer fee for Darren Fletcher. Hes a Manu first Team regular and would cost 2 or 3 times what we can afford. He wouldnt move to the SPL anyway EOS
doesn't matter what hes on. We couldnt afford his right peg Hes started 15 games and came on as sub 9 times, Manu have played 24 games in the league........do the math
Fletcher is rated at Manu, your valuation falls way short, He wouldnt dream of a move to the SPL. Would cost about 10 mil i tells ye. Hargreaves 20 mil A manu first team player at the age of 22 with CL experience costing 2 mil
