you have to look at things like we have no cut down operating costs, wages etc, so things will decline more rapidly. recently we've done well though to cut costs and reduce the debt, but sometimes its hard to do both at the same time successfully one usually follows the other. I would expect a more steep drop in our debt on our next accounts as long as we get in to the CL.

The chiefs managed to spring an upset at home against San Diego. Winning 21-14.
Looks like a weekend for the underdogs! plenty upsets around the league. Cannot whack that. Great entertainment but the standard will only get better after a couple more games as the teams get their fitness and match time up.
A trip to Denver next for Seattle and they lsot their opening game so will be hoping for a response. I just wished we had a running game to help us. Matt will do a job passing but if we cannot keep the ball with the run it will only get tougher.
We need a star back but Forsett can definitely do a job.

Loved the 49ers getting what they had coming. Now Mr Vernon Davis where was that oh so easy win you predicted... lmao couldn't even muster up a touchdown. I accept Seattle wont do well this season most likely, but gettin the chance to shut them up seeing as they seem to believe their own hype, that was enjoyable start to season.

Wow I wpoke too soon, 2 tds for the hawks. Amazing turn!round
its very enjoyable... lets hope smith can keep getting less and less accurate with his throws... crossing my fingers for it lol
btw Williams size - match up problems for any CB, hopefully he can be fitzgerald-esque for us.

Talking about Rangers here not Boro, If Beattie can get what Boyd did in his first season and a half for the whole of his Gers career i'l be surprised tbh.
It doesn't matter form is form, and its not about one person scoring, if playing Beattie meant other players within the team scored more than we did before with Boyd scoring then I'll be happy.
-
after watching man utd today i think its clear, they are going to score unless we defend really well, but i wasn't overly impressed by their defence against everton.
-
Would score far more than Beattie i reckon!
Aye he's setting the heather alight down in the championship so I see and at international level only a few days ago... Boyd's not been on form since December.
-
I've not even read this thread but I bet Beattie's getting a slagging and golden boy Davis gets away with murder.
Beattie is a player, imo.
exactly this

Harsh on Edu to single him out as the worst, I think he does break up play and has the ability to get forward and is still learning, but admittedly was crap today, but has been no worse than Davis an experienced international and ex premiership player.. McCulloch has actually been our best centre mid. I can't understand though how we can't seem to actually pass the ball accurately though, that's the team all over the park i'm referring to though, even our punts rarely found a player, but when hamilton punted it they either got the rebound or the ball actually landed with one of their players.

A quick flick through my records he is the only one. But current fitness coach Adam Owen is Welsh.
yeah cheers for looking bud, i'd known about Owen but searching online for any old players was leading to no success. wonder if there are any countries from within europe we've never had player from, off top of my head i don't remember any from bulgaria, slovenia, liechtenstein, luxemburg, san marino, andorra, moldova (might be forgetting some more small countries). maybe estonia and swiss to?

Andy Dibble
I'd thought of him, but thought he was english for some reason. any others played for us?
-
Was talking with a mate watching sky sports news with the news of toshack leaving wales and was trying to think of any players from Wales to play for us. I can't remember any of the top of my head though. Maybe some of the older gers could help me.

Healy for Rangers
not putting it down or anything, but wasn't that just a friendly ?
i'm sure it was a qualifier was it not?
-
after seeing Bills TE Nelson is out for first 4 games without pay, is it just me or has there been an abnormally high amount of suspensions handed down by the league this season for substance abuse and such like?
-
Some good news for Patriots fans, Welker played last night and got a few catches, nice to see him returning after that bad injury, arguably the best slot receiver in the league.
Orton signed a contract extension with bronco's through to 2011.
Percy Harvin was also hospitalised after passing out with one of his migrane headaches at practice with the Vikings.
-
Favre is back it seems. Vikings will be strong again this season then.
-
Who is our first game of the season against?
Pats first game is Bengals. Then they have all divisional games with Jets, Bills and then dolphins over the next 3 games after.
-
I think its unfair to judge, he was obviously on a different wavelength with the other players cause he hasn't trained much if at all with them and not fully sharp. I'd give him a few games before rushing in to a judgement.

great video of Ray Lewis, still best MLB in the league in my opinion and one of the best leaders.

I'm looking about on forums for the 49ers, just to do abit of research.
Came across this video aswell, which I quite like.
Great find mate. That's got me really pumped for the season. Opening game against the Seahawks is gonna be a big one. Need to get beat them for a shot of winning the division.
The reception by Crabtree and the 80 yard TD for Gore are unreal.
Should be a good game. If the Seahawks can grab a win, it will be a really tight division.

-
I still need a team
Seattle! they wont let you down!... well they will, but its more fun supporting the under dog and we just had an awesome draft so we should be gettin better over next few seasons and it means you're rivals with all these 49ers fans

was definitely below our usual standards, main things for me was giving Eremenko to much time on the ball, Sammon was far to fast and in form for Broadfoot and Weir to keep hold of (god knows what Hernandez will do to them).
Credit to Kilmarnock though, outside of the keeper mistakes, it's the best form I've seen from a Kilmarnock team in a few years for sure.
