He's not a rangers player as someone said in the match thread, almost cost us the game today. I don't see what he offers to the team apart from being a rangers fan.

That was a dreadful error but we should have been out of sight by that point.  Our wastefulness while we were tearing them apart at 2-0 also nearly cost us the game.

    He was being too greedy...

Spot on.  Him, and a couple of others, acted unprofessionally in the period between our second goal and their score; the latter being an inevitability due to the wasteful behaviour of players who were acting as if the game was already won.  I was really pissed off at that and not just because I had £10 on a 4-0 win. :-)

For all Waghorn, Miller and Dodoo's faults at least they have a style of play. Something to offer even if they aren't playing well (Waghorn), getting too old (Miller) and inconsistent/limited (Dodoo) - I don't even see a style of play, potential, skill levels, goals return or anything from Garner. No different to James Beattie when he was playing with us.

Good to see some reality about Garner's performance.

@Briton Apologies I've now looked at the BBC website and seen what I had missed at the game and on Jules vid.

BBC vid shows how JG played the ball quite beautifully off Barrie's chest directly into the path of Miller. More incredible than I'd first appreciated. Well spotted ??

Not the first time this season a player has been 'credited' with an assist from a poor pass. It's this kind of thing that makes the assist stats useless.

you just can't stand it when I talk sense ! :pipe:

Whether it's sense or not is irrelevant; how the fuck would he determine that anyway?  He just wants to censor everybody who doesn't fall in line in what seems like an ongoing project to turn Rangers into a Glaswegian equivalent of St Pauli.

I have a lot of criticism for the admin of this site but kudos to them for not allowing the would be stormtroopers to silence opinion.

Scored goals for us but dont like him, never have.  Used to argue on the away bus about him all the time but he is an arrogant knob imo

Despised him since the six fingers incident.

  7. Good read.

Clubs back in the early days of association football chose dynamic names such as Rovers and Wanderers and this is possibly why the name Rangers attracted the young Moses.

I always assumed clubs took those names because they had no permanent home at the time.

the Scotland supports are total scum. Sheepshagers, hivs Dundee hivs even st midden fans have it in for us big time.

it seems to be acceptable for a drunk tranny wae a kilt on steaming drunk but for a bear to be drunk we are seen as thugs.

Many Rangers supporters still support Scotland.  Fuck you.

33 pages? 33 pages! A Joey Barton training ground bust up thread went 33 PAGES?!

First cunt should have said, "meh", and every cunt who posted just liked it.

    #WhatswrongwithRangersMedia?

Yeah. A big name player at the club has a training ground bust up and is sent home by the management and you think that's not an issue that's going to bring a lot of attention from Rangers fans? #Whatswrongwithyou?

  10. The 'assists' are misleading and lead to bad information.  A good example is giving Wallace an assist at Dundee for what was essentially a poor ball; he wasn't even the last player to touch the ball as he hit it straight at a defender.

Same for giving McKay an assist for Tav's goal on Friday.  Just ridiculous.

When asking for opinions, nobody is right and nobody is wrong. Papac for me is one of the hardest working professionals I've had the pleasure to watch. No moans or complaints, just got on and did his job without any hassle, frills or shouting and bawling. Got kicked up and down but came back again and again at the opposition.

.................................could have done with a bloody good haircut though :-) :-) :-)

I disagree. His haircut was okay. :)

I'd have Ronald Waterreus and Shota Averladze in the team. Definitely not Weiss.

I wouldn't drop him, but he really struggled against Motherwell. Part of the crowd really got on his back, and while he wasn't hiding he was completely afraid to take his man on or take a creative 'risk'.

Was much better in the second half, and then got hooked.

Part of the 'problem' with success is you got people signing up for tickets or season books who aren't 'regulars' who've been through thick and thin - they're very quick to get angry when things don't go well. More 'fans' than 'supporters' - not an issue, and happy to have them, but there's a marked difference in reaction IMO. Tough for inexperienced players.

He did struggle but still opened up their defence in the first-half.  Of course, as you say, the better you do the higher the expectations and I think many are expecting a lot from McKay in every game.
